I'm literally speechless about this work of art. The first thing you notice is the breathtaking MS-Paint Quality graphics in lovely 2d physics rendering. Then, you enter the game: A family of 5 racing and flipping over countless mountains and shooting helpless animals that float mysteriously in the air for food to get to the mystical and extremely small land of EL DORADO! It's so ridiculously weird and humorous, that even if the gameplay is stupid, you'll keep playing it because it's just... beautiful. If you have a sense of humor and liked EnviroBear, get it. If you're one of those 3d graphics Zombie Shooting Nerds, don't get it. It's as simple as that: YOu're not supposed to take it seriously.
P.S. This game cures AIDS.
Pet3rPan7,
DONT BUY THIS GAME
This game is definitely not worth your money, sometimes you can’t even leave the starting area, because of the mountains.
ChaosProphecy,
Should be the beginning of a series
In the sequel you should have multiple destinations around the world, more pickups, powerups and power downs, more enemies, etc. Keep the conestoga wagons in it, we can always drive under the sea with them to go from one continent to the next just like they did in the 1840s.
As for this game, I like it. There are improvements that could be made but I'm torn between wanting updates or wanting them to start making more of these.

A Glaring Bug In The Face of Glory
This is my favorite iOS game ever! Others have come and gone but this one keeps coming back. It's stayed installed for over a year and I play at daily. Unfortunately, there is a bug currently where the forward or backward button will get stuck. This is kept me from finishing multiple sessions and has been a real bother. If you don't have this game, do yourself a favor and get it. Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

Pro Effort
My American History average rose from a 42 to a 96 after playing this once. It is amazing that I can have a ton of fun with this game and also learn the amazing amount of history taught to me by simply playing it. It is 100% historically accurate and the realism is astonishing. If you are looking for a fantastic game, buy it. If you are looking to learn more about history, buy it. If you are looking for both, then you are in heaven.

Excellent
After playing this game for a total of 3 minutes, I am happy to report that this game, similar to enviro bear, is a true piece of art. When comparing this masterpiece to michelangelo this game wins by miles. The single developer is clearly really high when he makes this stuff though. Don't even bother looking at screenshots though, just buy the game. You will smile (if you have lips that is) I garuntee it.*

omgomgomgomgomg,
Dysentery!
I am not sure what the complaints are, works great on my iPhone 4, OS 4.
Must be a bug for another particular device/os. I am sure it will be patched as soon as Apple lets the update through. Slow process :(
Love the envirobear lo-fi art style.
For art and music alone it's worth buying!
Jim Low,
Unplayably Buggy
The game has got a lot of charm to it just like the other apps that Blinkbat has to offer. Any OT fan would be drawn to this game. It's a very short game but it comes with 5 or 6 different challenges making it a fairly enjoyable app. But, as is, it's is unplayably buggy. I believe I was able to get through the original game just fine (which takes about 2 minutes...). The "side quests" are all horribly broken. The controls malfunction every time, making it impossible to complete the challenge. It's disappointing that Blinkbat hasn't fixed this game yet, it'd be a decent game if the controls worked.

Don't waste your money
If I could give this app 0 stars I would. It's nothing like Oregon Trail. It's not even a fun game set aside from Oregon trail. The graphics remind me of the old Atari games from the 80's only worst. It doesn't give you any options for anything. The people who say the game is any fun what so ever absolutely work for the developer. If you don't want to take my word for it, go ahead and waste your money. I usually don't leave reviews, but this one was well worth my time to warn everyone about this utterly ridiculous app.
GidgetN,
Underrated
I think the negative reviews on this game are due to people having the wrong expectations. This isn't Oregon Trail. The gameplay is more like Excitebike with a little bit of shooter thrown in. Absolutely worth the money, doesn't deserve the bad ratings.
