Encourages assumptions, rather than logical reasoning
I downloaded this for my son so he could get practice with logical reasoning, but our first puzzle was too open ended. There were a few clear answers but after that it allowed you to just pick which number went where and build your grid around that. I have never had a sudoku puzzle with multiple correct answers. I get that it’s built to be easy for kids, but if you’re trying to teach your kid to not make guesses, and rely on given facts, this is not the sudoku app for you.
