I LOVE this game!!❤️❤️

I love this game. It has all the decorating that I love to do, but with card games instead of the normal match three. I like those games, but I was kinda getting bored of them. So I was REALLY excited when I found this game. One of my favorites definitely. I love the story and the animations are so cute. I love how you have to uncover the mystery of the past. Now I can’t say to much about it for future players, but I will say that it is awesome.

I love how realistic the characters are. I have a dog, and he would totally do must of the things that Marlowe does. So good job in that. I only have one complaint and it’s not I big one. I was playing the hard level and selected the booster so I could win, (I did,) and when I started playing the other one it automatically decided that I needed to use my last booster on that one because I had wanted one last time. It’s not much, but it would be great if that could be fixed.

Other than that, great game, good job, would totally recommend it.

Good game but very expensive to play.

You can count on paying at least 50,000 coins for each star you get. it now costs 1880 coins to begin a game. The free cards are no longer free and you have to use 2 cards to begin. At a cost of 900 coins each. You’ll get one solitaire rhat you can solve on the first go round, the next will be more difficult and will require more boosters. But the cost of the boosters has increased exponentially. The torch now costs 22,000 coins but it will only burn 4 cards and the Hard and SuperHard levels will leave you with 5, 6 or more cards, so it’s cheaper to give up and spend 1880 more coins to start over. Or you can spend 5500 coins for the first wild card and 7200 for the second and so on. The scissors booster is 11,000 at the moment but it also increases every few games. At one point the game allowed your coins to go into a piggy bank but to redeem the bonus coins you’ve earned by spending $200 in real money, you then have to spend $50 to buy them back. It gets even more ridiculous than this as you go on. Forget buying the 5 extra cards. You can buy 5 extra cards for 3600 coins but you will not have one matching card. The next 5 will cost you double.
So, if you’re Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos you’ll enjoy a good storyline and nice graphics but if you’re an average mortal, I suggest you get a good mystery on Kindle.

Don’t get stuck and don’t have to spend real money!!!!!

I enjoy this game because it doesn’t leave you hanging stuck on a level forever. If you don’t conquer a level after a while (and not too long) you get a winnable board without having to spend money to buy bonuses. You can really play this one without having to spend anything. Therefore I reward them by spending some occasionally lol. Needless to say this is a very important feature to me on any type of game I play!

I enjoy strategic card games like this very much, figuring out which way to work through boards to best advantage. The story line is cute too, with a dog as a central character which I really like! A great game which I will keep playing because I don’t have to lay out money to succeed. A great design which has actually gotten some money out of me for some extras, while games that leave you stuck on levels for days and days on end with no way to win without spending money just get deleted.

So pretty

I love this game. Some of the levels are pretty difficult, but the obvious thought that goes into the game makes it worth it. Small things like characters’ eyes moving and making facial expressions during dialogue are so appreciated! I also like that you can click on the screen where the stars appear to complete a task instead of having to go to the menu list to do so. And again, the design is really freaking pretty, I love how this game feels different from others and there is furniture and flooring/wallpaper that feels unique. so far my FAVORITE aspect has been the christmas event decorating, the christmas decorations are actually jawdropping, I didn’t expect that level of detail at all. I love the pastel colored christmas trees!! Please keep updating the game and continuing with other seasonal decorations—I’ll keep playing for sure! It’s my favorite level-based design game. Thank you!

Awesome game, not for long term play without spending money

Love this game, so much fun! Great story line and design, I also really like the solitaire aspect. The only thing I don’t like, is how challenging it is to move forward once you have reached higher up levels. Seems like the only way to move past certain levels is to spend money on extra moves and more power ups. A couple ideas for the developers - 1. Turn “extra cards” at the end of a game into coins. 2. Offer “unlimited game play” for a certain amount of time after completing a chapter. 3. Daily check-in rewards/bonuses. 4. “Hard” and “Super Hard” levels reward with more stars. Hopefully the next update will take this feedback into consideration so I can continue to enjoy game play! When I like a game, I like to be able to continue playing it without spending a ton of money. Like others said, happy to spend money on a good game, but wow this game seems to really demand money for progress past the entry levels. Would love to change this to a 5-star review!

Changed over night

Last night I played with money earned during games, wild cards cost reasonable rates for where I was, increased slowly with the game. Today, wild cards jumped to 600, all winning go to the piggy bank and I have only five lives. Too bad. I thought this was going to be fun.

After a week of emails with the team, the last email declared they have no control over which features each player gets. So, the fact that I prefer in game costs to lives is immaterial. I’m stuck with it. Since they said this was to learn which features customers enjoy, here is my response. I don’t like you change my game over night. I don’t like it went from a fun and relaxing game with reasonable in game rates to a game that charges half my in game money for a booster. I don’t like that it went from a game where I might consider spending some real money to a game where if I don’t pay to play I’m out of lives in three levels.

Too bad. The story was fun. The randomness of who gets what features and the jump from 50 for a wild card to 600 leaves me cold.

Difficult

This game was very fun and was super easy at first and got me hooked. Well the further I got I knew it would get more difficult but not impossible. It gives me terrible cards that will never match up no matter what order I do it in. I have already invested money into this game and now regretting it because I am stuck. I am seeing the same complaints from people a year ago that I am having now. I figured they would have adjusted the difficulty by now. Very disappointed. I spend money more when I know I have a chance of winning not when it gets impossible. I am not spending more money when I know there’s no chance of winning anyway.. I spent $20 yesterday just to get a room done and now am screwed over in the next room. I am not giving you all that much money for a game that’s supposed to be enjoyable over time for minimal money… Guess moving onto another game. Very sad. Money hungry companies… I feel you all made it harder on purpose because you thought I was going to keep forking out money? You thought wrong.

It’s fun but greedy

So I just started playing (lvl 58), and so far I’ve experienced what other reviews have been saying. The further you get in the game, the more pricey it gets for in game currency. At the start of the game, start a level is 100 coins but as I have advanced it became 150 coins. And the boosters?? Crazy rise. For example the wild card boost went from 100 coins to 450 coins. Now I know you don’t have to use the boosters and can just end your level if you’re losing, but what’s fun about losing all the coins you just tried to earn for it all just to go to waste? My point is that there was no need for them to rack up in game coin prices the further you get into the game. However, the game allows you to receive 200 coins every 30 mins which is probably just so you can have enough coins to start a level in case you’re broke in game.

I do however like that this game is different from your regular matching games, but it could be better.

Fun game

I really do love playing this game but some levels your on forever and I’m way up there in the levels I’m just starting to do the pool house and I’ve gone from playing a hard level and then the next level is super hard which took me forever to beat and I had to use all my power cards I had because at first I had 4 cards left they were J Q K and the J was the electric one that zaps your cards and didn’t know what the 4th card was so I bought the 5 extra cards and not one card was one that I needed so that was a waste of 500 coins so I had 2 wild cards so I used one and I got the J Q and K card and the 4th card was another K so I had to use my 2nd wild card and now that I just beat the super hard level I’m now on a hard level which just isn’t right that you barely get any regular levels there all hard super hard and then hard again

I Really Want to Love This Game, but…

Love the graphics, storyline and the solitaire type puzzles, but with that said, I’m getting increasingly frustrated with the game. While the levels were easy in the beginning, many become almost impossible when you get to a little higher level, without buying tons of power ups. I don’t mind spending money on a game, but when it starts to become obvious I’m not going to get anywhere without spending a bunch of cash, I will just eventually delete the game. There are times when every other level is classified as a “super hard level”. Many times these are impossible without multiple power-ups. I will waste several attempts, just trying to get to where I can use two or less power ups to complete the level. Don’t waste your coins on the extra five cards either. More often than not, they are no help. I really want to love the game, but please adjust the difficulty.
