Now you can do all of these things by starting your own world on Somewhere Good! Tap “Reserve a World” in settings to get started.

**DROP INTO DAILY CONVOS**

What album describes this season? Where’s the last place that brought you joy? How is climate change affecting your neighborhood?

Every day at 11AM ET, new conversation prompts drop in each world, creating an opportunity for fresh, new convos to pop off every day. Make sure to tap in and share your thoughts or just listen in if that’s more your thing.

**LEAVE & LISTEN TO VOICE NOTES**

Respond to the prompt by leaving a 60-second voice note, leave replies on someone else’s note or just listen to other’s replies like a lil’ podcast! Keep the conversation going by replying back anytime that day.

**ADD LINKS, IMAGES AND PDFs**

Don’t stop at just your voice! Want to add a link to a song? A PDF of your favorite book? A photo from the weekend? Add color and context by easily attaching a link, image or PDF to your voice note.

**REFRESH THE CONVO DAILY**

Conversations only last 24 hours! At 11AM ET voice notes disappear and the prompt refreshes for a brand new convo to start all over again! Think about it like a kickback with the homies– some of the best conversations can't last forever and you can't wait to go back.

zainab altuma,
I haven’t fallen in love with an app like this before.
I wrote a review and App Store decided to play with me, so here is a redo. I really love this app. I genuinely enjoyed every second of using it. I had no technical difficulties and it has such a personal design feel that my brain was fully engaged, and for someone with ADHD, the app was easy to navigate and kept me stimulated.
I think Somewhere Good will change the course, style, and future of communication for the next decade. I can already see communication students analyzing its impact in their college courses.
Social Media apps are great and all, but they feel generic, monetary, and give no space for authenticity and honest communication the way Somewhere Good does. The prompts alone give space for people to not only show up as themselves, but to also engage in conversations that bring out feelings and topics that may seem taboo, not easily discussed, etc. I think also the way conversations and prompts are set up gives people the chance to directly and intimately communicate and respond and feel like apart of a community.
I can already see the app being used to share spoken word poetry, songs, book club meetings, etc.
I love it. I know all of my friends and I would constantly use it, and I really wish we had it during quarantine.
ohhellohelen,
Somewhere good is bringing something new
Delivering exactly what it’s name promises, somewhere good feels like a respite of internet that allows for short form introspection (in the form of 1 minute audio notes) in a judgement free zone. The feeling of the space itself is co-created by the thoughtfulness of each participant (responding to juicy prompt questions at times deeply thought provoking and at times exuberantly playful). It feels so much more direct and meaningful to connect with others’ thoughts by responding to notes with your own, or even just listening in to an intimate thought. Also brilliantly and beautifully designed 😍
mnjshri,
a worthy addition to your wellness practice
130 days into my daily meditation practice, and I can earnestly say my first interactions with self-care and transcendent wellness practices were with Ethel’s Club in 2020. their digital oasis, Somewhere Good, is as seminal, revolutionary, and inspiring as their initial offerings during the pandemic.

I highly recommend this app for folks seeking to slow down, listen, and engage in a relaxing, risk-free, and fun daily dialogue centering self.

thank you to the SG team for providing such a wonderful digital container for learning about the self through speaking and listening to others.
veeteegee,
Stunning and somewhere special
I am so deeply impressed by this app. Not only is it beautiful, but the intentionality behind makes it feel just as good as it looks. It’s also felt like a place where genuine connection can be forged with ease and zero pressure, a special feat in these times. Naj and the whole team are onto something special with this creation and I’m so thrilled to keep learning and growing alongside this growing community. My gratitude to everyone present for this new space is so abundantly clear so I will absolutely recommend you download this app today.
amy_yang728,
Creative way of communicating!
I’ve had so much fun listening to what people think on various topics and learning about different cultures and lifestyles. This app is super easy to use and access and allows you to meet new people on a more intimate level than just texting. I also loved sharing my thoughts on different topics/prompts that I had never even thought about. There’s a wide variety of topics to talk about and they’re always changing to keep you talking. 10/10 recommend!
LolaLove02,
truly somewhere good
This app makes me so happy on so many different levels! I’ve been on it since the beta testing, and I was struck by how communal and intimate it felt. I was nervous that when it went live it would lose that feeling, but it hasn’t! Its maintained the things I’ve loved it about (listening to voices, intimate conversations, stunning visuals) while continuing to expand and grow. I can’t wait to see how far this goes, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it in this way 🧡
katt_daddy,
Nothing without intention
Experimenting with an app that advocates for slow connection and intention as a social app is really dope. AND if you’re in New York and have a chance to visit the physical space - DO IT. Community.

I so so appreciate voice notes so love it for that and being able to interact with others who have such different and at times similar trains of thoughts. I do wish there was more ways to engage ie: connecting with people’s profiles, option to write text if audio isn’t your thing, and other ways of engaging. Looking forward to the growth!
DeeCeeEmmeElle,
I just want to read not hear ppls voices
I was really excited for the launch of this app. When it came out I was horrified when I realized it was just a voice message and listening app. It’s for this reason why I didn’t really take to clubhouse. I was hoping this would be more of a traditional interaction app where we could read things and comment things without having to hear ppl. I have a really deep aversion to hearing breathing from other people in my headphones as they talk. Guess it’s back to Instagram Twitter and Facebook for me, which I’m very sad about. Wish the original Ethels Club was still up & running as it was during the earlier parts of pandemic.
DeMoonSta310,
Come on 11!
Somewhere Good has been a refreshing place to be daily. I look forward to the prompts in the different worlds daily at 11am (EST). They’re, of course, great to leave voice notes to, but also great journaling prompts.

What I enjoy the most is you talk uninterrupted. It feels like a judgement free space. There are no follows, likes, or algorithms (Keep this please!!)

I would like to see a place where we can suggest prompts. Maybe that’s just sending an email?

For those who’d like to leave other social media platforms or don’t want to switch platforms to further connection, maybe a PM/DM section to connect with the homies privately or being able to add your Twitter account to connect there?

Thank you for a beautiful place. It’s nice to be somewhere good for a change! It was worth the 15month wait. 🌈 ⛅️ 💜
marinazifta,
It can be fun and de stressing!
I’ve been using this app for a week now and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been nice to let some of the thoughts in my head out into an open space. I really like how the questions focus on mental health, the world, and personal feelings. Nothing was too thought invoking or challenging in a way that would be stressful. I also like how there is limited social interaction. You don’t have to interact with others unless you want to! Would recommend for someone looking for some mental health routine.
