Sonar Islands is a MULTIPLAYER ONLINE game, where all relevant events happen in your ears.
On various islands you explore and discover, seek hidden TREASURES and conquer OBSTACLES. Every new island has a special atmosphere and a different gameplay. Do your best to fortify your islands and be clever enough to take the gold from your opponents.
Visit the ancient TEMPLE island, the ancestors built, where snakes are biting and down falling parts may block your way.
Take a trip to the JUNGLE island, watch abandoned lions on your way, but be aware of the tree traps, set up by the natives. You can go up, but there is no coming down.
The FUN FAIR island is a happy place to be. You can shoot toys coming towards you. Some carry a treasure, some carry a bomb, that's the risk.
The VOLCANO island is a chilly place, for some too hot, especially if you step near the lava flows. Ash and stone rain down due to the eruptions of terraforming, raise your shield to protect you.
In the MACHINE HALL you will meet the friendly robots from Feer, but this time you carry a stun gun to short-circuit their brains, at least for a while, till their self-repair is complete.
On PING island you will get a sonar device for orientation, send out a tone and the echo tells you, where to go. That’s good, because you may discover, this island is a labyrinth.
High up on the TREETOP island you have to deal with wind and mosquitos. The wind is really disorientating, leaves are rustling, while the mosquitos chase you. And don't fall, while balancing on the twigs.
On the ELECTRO island you face the invisible power of ELECTRICITY. Tesla coils sparkle round their high voltage, better shoot some metal confetti to divert the current. The nice thing here are catapult plates, they make you fly all over the island. A pity, that you don’t know where you will end up.

Visually impaired people typically don’t have enough money to spend on games, so no.
I’m tired of every time I find a game that I think is cool, we have to pay for a subscription, when there are so many free games out for the sighted. This is wrong on so many levels, because a lot of visually impaired people are in the low income bracket, and the developers are just taking advantage. You can’t even play the game unless you subscribe, which is ridiculous. Give us a one time purchase price for the entire game, and I’m all over it, but I don’t do subscriptions, unless an app is providing a service that is important, like whether.

Warning: FREAKING SUBSCRIPTION
This app had AMAZING potential, but I must say one word: FREAKING SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!! Okay, that was two, but this game was literally in line for my new fav, until I realized it required a subscription. I saw one comment saying (roughly, I’m paraphrasing) that they were tired of finding games where you subscribe to play, and then the editors said (again, roughly) recheck our extended comment, saying notice value not price, virtually telling them that even if you paid $100 per month, so long as it was a fine game it was okay. First of all: that is crap, and makes no sense. No one (unless you’re rich) would be willing to do that. Second of all: I had no clue this was a game for the blind, and I didn’t know that until I checked the comments. And blind people aren’t usually overflowing with money, and so that’s ridiculous taking advantage of them. Please change it! This game would be awesome otherwise, five stars if not for the subscription. We get you need money, but can’t you make at least this one game free?
One other thing: the developer is pretty rude to people saying things, and avoids some of their main questions, and doesn’t accept the fact that they could make a one time pay instead of a subscription, so screw them. Sorry for any blind people disappointed by this game like myself (except I’m not blind)

This is for attacking an island.I just have one more suggestion, I promise this time.
OK, when you’re attacking an island, the timer should let you know when you’re at 30 seconds. Let’s say for example we hit one minute on the timer. When 30 seconds are left, it should say 30 seconds. Every 10 seconds it should say how much time is left. 30 seconds left, 20 seconds left, 10 seconds left, and so on. It should also give you a five second countdown before the timer would run out. That would be a lot more helpful. It’s just a suggestion, but I hope it can be taken into consideration. Also, you should implement a suggestion in the time events with a timer. What I mean is, next time if rollerball ever comes back out, you should implement this suggestion into that event. Thank you so much for rolling out more events and continue the hard work. Thank you developers.

I love sonar islands I play it every day I think that the subscriptions are reasonably priced and I hope that other things can come in the future like I know that we kind of just finished winter but what If there is a winter island where it hails and you upgrade it and you have to use a shield to protect yourself and you can either have polar bears or abominable snowmen that you have to dodge this is just one island suggestion the game is awesome I don’t think I’ve ever found a game that is multiplayer like this it sounds like you guys are really trying to take the blind community into consideration we may not have our site but we like to have just as much fun as the sighted and companies like you make that wonderful and worthwhile thank you

Can't get pass tutorial
This seems like a really fun game and I wanted to do the tutorial before I decide to pay a subscription for it since I have a tight budget and only do it if I like something but I don't get how I'm supposed to play the game when I can't even get pass the easiest part of hearing for treasure when the tutorial voice keeps talking and repeating the same thing every two seconds you can't hear the treasure and him talking loudly in your ear at the same time if the voice repeated every couple of minutes then that would be fine just in case you forget how to do something but not a minute goes by before he starts blabbering again and to me if I can't get pass a simple tutorial why would I give someone money when I don't even understand how to play the game correctly great concept but kinda just a waste of phone storage now to me

This tends to be a game I play heavily andthen forget about for a few months, only to start a heavy playing jag again some time later, but when I do play, I'm impressed with the quality of work. All the islands sound rich and realistic, and it seems like things are always getting added, whether islands or events. While I wish we could do things like decorating our islands and I think the tutorial could use some writing brushe-ups, the subscription price for this kind of ongoing work seems more than reasonable to me, especially as things are quite polished when they do drop. Thanks for a great time waster of a game.

Well, maybe once a payment, or you can use gold as a subscription. Not just the white snakes and ladders and collapsing ceilings and upgrades. Besides what is the rent subscription? This is just a bunch of violence and attacks and treasure it shouldn’t it’s a small game. The reason I am saying now is because too many games for the blind require an app purchases and subscriptions. You could remove the subscriptions. And I thought of another way to do it. The goal to make him more useful. You can do something like 30 gold for three hours, 69 gold for one day, 111 gold for one week, and 135 gold for 2 to 3 weeks. Please take this. It’s just not fair that side of people have more free games than us blind people. Please take time to review this and read it sorry that this was long.

Rollerball
And the game descriptions, there is a button to hear what the tokens sound like. But for rollerball, there’s no sound to show what the whole sounds like. That and the indicator that beeping sound that gets higher in pitch is actually softer than the rolling sound and it makes it more difficult to figure out whether you’re going to break direction or not. This is not my favorite game. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like mental home. And all the other games. And I still like rollerball just I think needs tweaking.

Pleas update.
This game needs an update. I really love it, but the way it is now, it’s beginning to become doll as I reached the maximum level and I have nothing else to do but battle for lights and upgrade things that I didn’t previously . I would consider adding more levels or more new islands. Maybe a new island where we can actually swim in the see this time? Anyway, please make an update soon.. Best regards..

My favorite game on iOS
I absolutely love this game. The sound design is great and the game is fun too play. I’m also glad to see further development such as the creation of more islands. It really bothers me to see reviews complaining about the subscription. The game runs on a server which will have a monthly cost and the price is reasonable. Most quality games for the sighted require in app purchases and/or subscriptions. Great game and worth the cost.
