Description

The app "SOS EU ALP" (formerly name "Notfall App für Tirol") reads your position (x, y coordinates) from your smartphone. In case of an emergency, this position will be used to inform the appropriate rescue coordination centre (Tyrol, South Tyrol or Bavaria).

It may be used in case of an emergency where you need medical care (by air or ground), get rescued from water or mountains or need the fire brigade.

In case of an emergency the activated app will start a telephone call with the emergency call center (only if the position of the smartphone is in Tyrol or South Tyrol). At the same time the collected data is sent. This makes it possible to receive help quick and efficient.

Outside of the borders of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Bavaria emergencies are reported to the appropriate rescue coordination centre too. In such cases the app calls 112 but do not send any data.

With the help of the location history, the current location can be continuously recorded during a sporting activity. In an emergency (search operation), the control center can access this position data. A search and rescue operation can thus be significantly accelerated. Location history is an optional feature!

Folgende Änderungen sind mit dem Update auf Version 2.1 wirksam:

Das SMS-Service wurde in das System der Leitstelle Tirol GmbH integriert,
d.h. per 31.8.2012 wird der bisherige SMS-Dienst vollständig abgelöst und der SMS-Dienst in Version 2.0. funktioniert nicht mehr, daher bitte UNBEDINGT UPDATE AUF VERSION 2.1. durchführen. Das reibungslose Funktionieren der Version 2.0. ist ab 31.8.2012 nicht mehr gegeben.

Es erscheint ein Hinweisfenster, wenn die Notfallmeldung oder die Testmeldung ohne GPS-Koordinaten übertragen wurde.

Es erscheint ein Ladebalken bei der GPS-Koordinaten-Suche nach Start der App und ein Hinweis, wenn keine Koordinaten gefunden wurden.

Die Bedienungsanleitung und die AGBs sind nun offline verfügbar.

Die Notfall App Bergrettung Tirol operated by Leitstelle Tirol GmbH wurde speziell für Notfälle im alpinen Bereich innerhalb Tirols entwickelt. Somit ist sie nur in Tirol einsetzbar. Sie ermöglicht es, dass in der akuten Notsituation auf Knopfdruck eine Übermittlung des eigenen Standorts (per GPS-Koordinaten) an die Leitstelle Tirol GmbH erfolgt und gleichzeitig eine Telefonverbindung mit dieser hergestellt wird. In Folge werden durch die Leitstelle Tirol GmbH die benötigten Rettungskräfte alarmiert und disponiert.
