v1.1 changes:
- Controls changed!! Much less sensitive and now on a sliding scale for more accurate control. You can now make fine moves and follow your target more easily.
- Laser sight changed! It now only goes green when your enemy is within range. So if it's green, you'll hit!
- Targeting fixed! Now always targets your closest enemy, and doesn't randomly change.
- Failure message changed. You never lost money for losing, guys. It just tells you how much you would've earned had you succeeded! :)
- Faster lasers, and bigger hit explosions! It'll help you see when you're doing damage!
- Allies no longer keep showing up when they're not needed. So you'll have less wingmen "stealing" your kills.
- Many more tweaks and fixes!

The game has a bug that makes the screen permanently rotated. Some of the buttons do not appear on the screen, so the game can't be played.

Things I complained about below in an earlier review have been fixed!
But there is still no sense of speed at all. The whole universe seems static.
But overall it is a fun, unique game.

Normally I'd be emailing demands for refund, but the developer did warn of bugs, and promised fixing and more stuff. So 3 stars until update. I expect it very soon. Each week without and update another star drops until I then demand a refund.
So buyer and gamer BEWARE.
Hopefully this developer will be fixing things right away, as this is a cool game and concept. I want to control some space ships.
Try UV Dawn if you are worried about this and don't want to gamble on developer promisses.

Awesome Gameplay!!!
This game has really good graphics and animations. I love the background space featuring nebulae, planets and the like. It seems that in this game they have mastered he art of simulating FTL (Faster-Than-Light) space travel effects. All of the ships look really cool, and you know that these are the kinds of ships that the futuristic humans and aliens would pilot. I also love the different ranks that you can acquire--I thought they would be normal ranks like Lieutennant, Commander, Captain, etc. until i was promoted to Alien Slayer after an incredible kill-streak of 34 alien ships destroyed! My current rank is "Dark Lord Gobias"(Gobias being my user name-HI OUT THERE to all you Arrested Developement fans).
I would like to point out that although this game appears to be Star Wars inspired, it has many key elements included in the too-few Star Trek games. If you guys are trekkies, then I would suggest using a lot of the animations featured in Space Wars 3D Star Combat Simulator (such as the FTL travel, cloaking effect, fore and aft radars, missile/torpedo launching, and accelerometer control schematic) in a Star Trek iPhone-and iPod Touch-
game, maybe based off one of the TV shows like Star Trek: DeepSpace Nine; you could have runabouts and the USS Defiant as the main ships, fighting the Cardassians, the millions of Dominion Jem Hadar, and even the epic battle sequence of taking DS9 back itself. I will also post this on your website.

A great game with amazing graphics, and controls, but lacks the interactivity brought on by characters, and a story line( though this would be a mere second mode to play in because the design of the current mode is very unique). I also think it would be nice if you could have certain weapons, hulls, engines, etc., in stead of just upgrading the speed or overall firepower.

AMAZING Update!
A Game that had been a three star just jumped to a five star. LOVE! The update. Fixed targeting issues, allied kill issues, etc. Games works great, and the controls are now much less sensitive, though I prefer a ship that jumps when I tell it too others prefer lower sensitivity.
My One Recommendation : Make it look like you are actually in the cockpit rather than just a blank screen.

Good but…
It doesn't feel like your piloting a spaceship I understand that to some the current perspective does but I was going for it to be more like storm raiders with the multiple perspectives
I'd also like to see our weapons overheat from constant usage and new sounds for each ship as it is right now all ships sound and feel the same

All it needs is a little easier on the last level (the enemy starbase) it is to hard I can't pass it I've tried and tried and tried, and I can't pass it. I mean I really can't. It's way too hard, I know you haven't updated in a while, but PEASE fix this!

Needs to be tweaked a bit
Controls are a thousand times too sensitive. Game glitches and throws you way off course. Ship selection is good. Weapons and upgrades are awesome. Wingmen steal kills often which leaves u broke often.
Revision: wingmen are worthless, just fodder for enemies. Lose more money than u make when u fail a mission. Targeting computer always locks on to the farthest away enemy which poses no threat. Lots of problems need to be addressed. =(

A Grounded Pilot,
A Bug that needs fixing!
For three updates, my Space Wars app has been impossible to play due to the title menu appearing almost entirely off-screen. I tried removing it and then re-installing it with the same result. Each time it says that I have to input a new pilot. This is particularly annoying as the game that I had to delete had a pilot with whom I'd rescued two galaxies from! Please fix this bug!
