About Spades:
Spades is 4 person Card Game. It can be played as either a partnership or solo/"cutthroat" game. The object is to take at least the number of tricks (also known as "books") that were bid before play of the hand began.
Spades is a descendant of the Whist family of card games, which also includes Bridge, Hearts, and Oh Hell. Its major difference as compared to other Whist variants is that, instead of trump being decided by the highest bidder or at random, the Spade suit is always trumps, hence the name.

Good Offline Game

I’ve only played offline by myself. I really enjoy it. I get really tired of playing various solitaire card games, and this has been a really good alternative.

The app could stand to be developed a bit more, though. There are buttons at the top that don’t do anything (The 1st seems to be to leave the game. The 2nd seems to be for font type. The 3rd seems to be to take notes.). Once I’m in the game, I can’t find a way to leave it and start over, or do anything but continue playing or close the app. I really wish there were rules available to refer to and more options (change background, change the look of the cards, change the other players’ names, etc.).

Over all, it’s still a good app, and fun. I recommend it.

I enjoy this game. Easy to learn.

Uneven Scoring

I enjoy the game.

But, the mirror game, it bids for you and bids so wrong. It bids less and I win more and as well it bids high and I win less.

Now the suicide game, I bid and I do not see the other players bidings not even my partners. For the other players as well as my partner the score shows like this (sample) Me, I bid 5 made 6 (5/6), Partner (0/0), Both Opponents (0/0, 0/0). But, they are winning decks and reneges, bid 0 and made 3 (0/3). What’s up with the scoring 🤨

Your partner is against you

You choose a partner to win correct? instead, your partner takes away hands from you and throw low cards when you bid nil and cause you to loose. Play it if you want to play to loose, get pist while playing instead of having fun.

Like the game but

There is no link to the rules for the different types to games. The computer makes bad decisions and will cut ur book

Fun but algorithm needs adjustment

Fun game. The algorithm for Whiz needs adjusting. The computer partner messes up a good hand sometimes.

Wish there was an ad free version

I’m not enjoying the updated version of this game. It’s a bit too cartoon-y for me.
