Spanish for Kids is designed especially for auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learners:
• Hear each word
• Match it to its picture
• Drag and drop!
Learners of all ages can build a basic set of Spanish vocabulary while enjoying beautiful hand-drawn scenes of everyday life.
Each level begins with a Learning mode, showing you the picture and the word, then kicks it up a notch to a Practice mode in which you must match the Spanish word to its place in the scene. Challenge yourself to complete every scene and earn Game Center achievements!
Two scenes are included in this free version: House & Family and Kitchen. A single in-app purchase unlocks the remaining nine scenes so you can follow the rest of the story, returning to each scene at any time.

Now, a long press on the left arrow below each scene takes you all the way back to the start, just like a long press on the right arrow takes you to the end. Practice away to your heart's content! We've also fixed some tricky item placements in the Kitchen scene and improved the tutorial.

We’re excited to bring you this significant update to Spanish for Kids! Learners now begin by selecting a character and then joining them on their journey to a new country. Follow along through this new story mode, or master each scene in the order you wish via Choose Scene from the Home menu. Two new scenes are included in this version's optional in-app purchase:
• Conversations: all the pleasantries and the basic questions and answers you need to know when making friends in a new land.
• Numbers: counting from 1-10 plus an introduction to number patterns through 100,000.
We’ve also made it easier to place small objects within each scene, especially handy for learners on iPhones. A number of other small bugfixes and improvements are included here too.
Finally, all apps in this series now include a free preview of our best selling Geo Touch app. Choose US from the Choose Scenes view and learn the states for free!
(Note that a single in-app purchase is now offered. If you have previously purchased any scene, you will receive access to all available scenes, including the two new ones, once you restore purchases in this new version.)

Perfect for young children!
Love this app for the kids! Many elementary schools don't bother teaching languages, so this works as a good supplement on the weekends! The graphics are easily recognizable, and the whole family starts to pick up on the words! Definitely would recommend to any parents or babysitters looking for a fun, simple language game for their kiddos :)

Word association
This app is great for associating single words with pictures. The main problem I have with it is that it is a computer saying the words. It’s a little hard to understand and the pronunciation is not authentic. Another thing that is slightly annoying is the banner that keeps popping up at the top of the page. Every time you move up a level the banner appears and sits there for some time. It covers up the pictures and you have to wait for it to disappear in order to start the level if the pictures you are seeking are underneath the banner. Other than that, it’s a fun little way to learn vocabulary.

I love the visual associations with the words and pictures in context. The voice could be less computer-like, but overall this is great! I would definitely be willing to buy this app.

Difficult to understand
The voice in this ap is a computer voice with no vocal inflection and it speaks very quickly- much to fast for my child to hear well. Additionally, the background music is very intrusive and unnecessary. It is hard to hear the Spanish words over the music.
