Good vocabulary builder
I have studied Spanish for years. I have a good grasp of the grammar and a decent vocabulary. But I don't have a complete vocabulary. This app lets me add words pleasantly and easily. It lets me rate my knowledge of each word and repeats those I am weak in. Also, the audio of each word reminds me to pay attention to my accent and especially those trilled R's. I like it a lot.

Good for Learning, but Audio Bugs
The app is actually really good for memorization of vocabulary words. It surfaces the cards in a smart way that reinforces memorization. It's the best spanish vocab app I have found. Much better than duolingo, etc.
The biggest problem is that the app realiably breaks my iphone's audio bluetooth connection, every single time I use, after about ten minutes of use, requiring me to go into setting, turn off bluetooth, turn on bluetooth, reconnect the headphones. Super obvious bug, and something that could be easily fixed. Please fix it.

Great method. No fluff. Quick and effective.
Really like this flash card app. I typically use paper flashcards but find it cumbersome in that they are not always near me when I am in the mood to study. This is available all the time and excellent at testing you again and again until you get it. Best apps so far!

It's amazing how many words you already know, just from everyday interaction and even more amazing how quickly you pick the new words up, especially after sleeping on them, and going back the second day....have fun. Simple and easy...5+stars. Use it daily!

Worth the money
I got a couple of free apps to learn vocabulary that were OK, but this one is full speed ahead to get to business. I don't have time for cute pictures and animations. I just want to learn Spanish quickly. This app is extremely helpful.

App unusable without creating account and agreeing to terms
It doesn't seem possible to use this paid app without first creating a brainscape account and agreeing to the terms of service. These terms include several provisions on collecting user data, opt-out only marketing, etc. What a disappointment to pay up front for this app only to learn after opening it that it is not usable without accepting previously undisclosed terms (or if they are disclosed somewhere on the App Store, it's not obvious where).

Love it... fix the audio issues!
I love this app and I'll give it 5 stars when they fix the audio. This app hijacks my music app. So I'm not able to play music in the background while I use this app. Other apps that use sound don't do this. Please fix it! The word pronunciation audio quality in the spanish app is pretty poor. I'll give it 5 stars when the audio issues are fixed, specifically not being able to play my music while using this app.
