The Bible versions are presented in parallel columns. The columns are arranged from most literal to most paraphrased translation. The original language version occupies the very most literal column. The color of the column indicates what kind of translation it is so you can tell what a version is good at without having to research it:
- word-for-word (blues/purples)
- phrase-for-phrase (translational greens)
- thought-for-thought (earth tones)
Pinch horizontally to change the number of visible columns, pinch vertically to change the font size.
We include the following excellent Bible versions in the free download because we secured no-charge licenses for them from their publishers.

We recently negotiating a $0 license agreement with the Lockman Foundation Bible publisher and we are passing that along to you by including the following quality Bible translations in new columns in this version's free download: Amplified Bible, NASB 1995, and NASB 2020. We are also offering two Chinese Bible translations (CUV Traditional and Simplified) for free download. Besides new Bible versions this revision also has completely reworked sharing services and an electronic version of our 275 page book, Flicker Bible Study.

This version makes available a new visual way to connect the English words of each Bible with the corresponding Greek or Hebrew words. This new tool is called WAVELinks to the Greek/Hebrew and is available from the In-app Store by the Bible book. You can select a phrase of interest in a Bible book that has WAVELinks (or one of the three sample verses from the book) and get a literal translation and see how each English Bible translates the phrase. Then you can look into the Original and find the contribution of each Greek or Hebrew word to the phrase's literal translation. The tool works by touch. You just touch a word of interest and its phrase is highlighted in all of the parallel columns. Once you find the word of interest you can launch a word search with the touch of a button to conduct your very own 60 second Greek or Hebrew word study. All of this is made usable for people that do not know anything about Greek or Hebrew.

I use it every morning. It has never crashed once, until the update. When I search Psalms it crashes to home. Paralleling Old and New Testaments Original text, KJV, and Message. Using iPad Pro 9.7 iOS 10.3.3 and NOT going to iOS 11 for performance throttling and sly manipulation to upgrade my iPad. (Reinstalled and seems to be working properly now) Thanks to the developers for a quick response ! You have a great app and should be proud.

Use It Daily
I enjoy using this app daily. I like the side by side of more than one version and I even purchased another version that was not for free. You can take notes and I’m sure I’m not even utilizing all it has to offer.
There were a few glitches: when a version was no longer free, there would be a blank space where it once was and I couldn’t simply close the gap and the version I purchased wouldn’t show up at all. Once I emailed them they responded quickly (had to uninstall, then install again) and it worked. I use this on my IPad.

Clever UI
I have a plethora of bibles on my iPhone/iPad, but this is by far my favorite. I love to be able to simply swipe between versions and the icing on the cake is the option to see the original text. I'm no scholar, which is why I like the option to simply tap the Greek or Hebrew word and up pops a screen to give varying translations as well as an option to search for other places in scripture for the same word. Great bible app.

FORCE CLOSING
I have been using this app for a couple of years now it has been very useful. I recently upgraded and up dated my phone to the latest version of iOS 15 since then the app force closes whenever I try to open “verse goodies” on the app is it possible their will be an update or bug fix for this issue I and I’m sure others if they are having this issue would greatly appreciate if this problem can be fixed.

Excellent Bible app
I have been us I’ve been using this Bible app for approximately five years at least…. It is super easy to use and I love the feature that allowed me to share verses with others through text, email or social media. The various versions and ability to switch between different versions instantly is awesome. I highly recommend this app!

Wow! My new favorite Bible!
This is the best of my Bible apps. I hope the developer continues to add translations (like The Voice) and new features. Turning off the color and rearranging the order of the Bible’s would be nice. Or user defined colors would also be nice. But even without fancy features it is amazing good! Praise God!

Won’t launch on IOS 11.2.5 beta
Ok. after several downloads, here’s the problem that I’m having. A screen will appear with a white line moving, so I figure it’s downloading. It stops 1/2 way and goes back to my home screen. I’ve also had it launch and show the Bible then seconds later it’s returns to the home screen.
I have an iPad mini 2, and deleted the beta version and retained the current public 11.2.5 update.
That’s as far as I can get. Now every time a touch the app it automatically returns to the home page.

Great Translations 📚
I’ve been using the Wave/Spectrum bible for probably close to 10 years. It’s the Bible App I use the most. It has so many bible translation options to choose from. I always refer this app to beginning bible readers.

I just downloaded this app. I love that I can take a certain scripture and look back at the Greek and then from that get what God wants me to see in it.

Can no longer use this app
I don't know what has happened with this app. I have enjoyed using it then suddenly I'm logged out and can't get back in. I forgot my password and there is no way to reset it. The website is also useless. This is so disappointing especially after all the purchases I made.
