[+] To further improve your performance, we’re adding full support for multiple words display, up to 5 words at a time.
[+] We’re also improving the behaviour of the speed reader, by re-sizing the text if it is too long, but only if necessary.
[-] We had a new issue fixed, a crash occurring when selecting where to start reading from.
[-] Finally we’re fixing an issue happening with a rather common caching system used in web pages (AMP). Now the app should import such pages seamlessly!

We've re-branded the app to a new fancy name: UpRead. The style of the app has been improved a lot.
Here is the full list of changes:

- More color themes with an improved picker

Hello my friends.
I’m working hard on Blast and will be doing that in the upcoming month or so. This release includes the first big bunch of news.
Here is the usual list:
- New “focus” mode. You can enable a focus point that helps preventing eye movements while reading and results in a nice increase of speed.
- Much, much better import of web articles. Blast now supports articles behind a paywall (only if you are a subscriber and import from Safari). It is faster and much more robust when things don't go as expected.
- Import from the News app and many more sources.
- Improved onboarding. If you're updating from a previous version, you may not see this. I've improved the onboarding process for new users. This is something many of you reported to be an issue. Thank you for letting me know.
- Full online documentation. Tapping "How does it work" inside the app brings you to a documentation website I created. From there you can reach to me or access the documentation for the most common issues and workarounds.
- Improved settings: you can now set your custom min and max reading speed. That makes tweaking it much easier and gives you full control.
- Improved color themes: yes, the ones included in the original version were terrible. I've added just 4 themes now and they finally look great imho.
- Much better support for recovering web articles errors. Whenever the app thinks there is something wrong it will guide you trough a simple recovery process.
- Fixed prices for the old subscription. It was 5$ cheaper than intended and still available for purchase. If you took advantage of that I will never find out so well done. Now that is fixed and all subscription prices are consistent.
That's it. Of course there was quite a lot of performance improvement and bug fixing. That should go without saying.

Hello readers!
We're finally releasing this much needed update. What's new:
- Improved handling of web articles. It is now more reliable and supports a much bigger set of websites. Downsides? Yep, we admit it now takes a couple seconds more to complete an import. Not a big difference but we love transparency :)
- Made pdf and txt files import more robust too and tested it with massive files (up to 1000 pages and tens of MBs). The pdf files must contain text. They may also contain images, but Blast won't be able to extract text from them (not yet at least)
- Added a new settings menu.
- Made instructions clearer and richer
- Made it easier to contact us if some article has parsing issues
- Removed the “review us” button from the bottom bar. You were right, it was annoying and not nice, sorry about that!
- Introduced AUTO-PLAY mode! Double tap the read button to start, tap again anywhere to stop. Isn't it cool?
Final note: we're now switching to the standard prices. The launch offer has been now deprecated, but do not despair!
We're introducing 3 options:
- A new weekly option for whoever doesn't like long commitments
- A classic yearly option with a competitive price
- A lifetime option without any recurring payments, as some of you requested
For anyone having the propotional yearly plan: you can keep it as long as you like! Price won't change and you'll be able to renew when it expires at the same price. If you cancel you must join one of the new plans tho.
Thank you very much to all the subscribers and to anybody giving us feedback. It has been super useful! You're amazing. Keep the good feedback and feature requests coming, we appreciate them.

I see improvement in my reading
I feel that I’m reading better. It makes reading fun for me. It did take a minute to get use too. When I needed help someone was always the to respond to my concerns. I’ll be glad when I can down load my books from kindle and readily start reading and improving my reading comprehension.

I’ve tried so many apps and this is by far my favorite! I love that I can choose anything I want to read and change the font,speed,color and size of the text. They definitely should be charging more for this app.
