I agree with the pilots review, a heading indicator would be a nice addition, along with a pitch/roll indicator. But unfortunately the developer needs to update this app to be compatible with iOS 11. I got a new truck and when I’m doing 85 on my speedo they are passing me pretty fast, so I would like to know what speed I’m actually doing. Other than that great app, love the heads up display mode for night time driving..... please update app at least to iOS 11 standards

Could be better
As a pilot I would like to see at least one more useful feature combined with the speed readout, mainly a compass heading indicator tape below the speed. I would have two options such as all Alpha (N,S,E,W, nne, ssw, etc.) and a numerical option with just the headings from 0 (north) to 359. In short, I'd love to know where I am headed in addition to how fast I'm getting there! This would also make it much more useful in off-road driving on trails, etc. Just for fun, a pitch ladder and roll indicator would be great too with some combo buttons to customize the HUD to your liking. Lastly, having it in several colors and options of selecting colors for each feature would also be great.

I tried some others and while most of them worked this seems to be the best! You must "allow" location services. It connects to GPS satellites.
You pick MPH or KPH.
You put it on your dash and it gives you giant speed reading or you turn it upside down and i tsreversed and you lay it on your dashboard and it reflects off the windshield in proper Jetfighter fashion. but reflected off the windshield it cannot be seen in daylight hours.
With one click you can turn on an alarm that will notify you if you're going over a certain speed that you set.
Every car should come equipped with this and until that day use this app!
But lay a little piece of rubber or something on your dashboard, by your front windshield, because your phone will slide as you make a turn.

Auto-rotate, speed setting
Very nice. I would like it even better if you could auto rotate the screen. In HUD mode my charge port for my iPhone 4S is on the left. GPS uses up power so it would be more convenient to have it plugged in and not have the cord getting in the way of the screen.
The speed settings... Well, maybe a scroll wheel or slider in increment of 5 starting at 35 to maybe 80.
Other than that, it works great, looks good. Nice app, can't beat the price!

A life saver, and ticket saver
So, I was driving, looked down, and discovered I was doing 100mph in a 60mph speed zone. After the initial scare, I realized my speedometer was on steroids and showing almost double my actual speed. Now I don't have to be in a rush to get it fixed, nor do I have to worry about some cop who's had a bad day and wants to take it out on someone doing 5 over the limit. Great app!

Accurate and works!!
This is a great app and I love the HUD! For anyone complaining of the accuracy make sure you're in the right units (kph/mph) also, for anyone complaining it won't connect do the following:
1. Delete the app
2. Reinstall
3. When it installs open it
4. When the app opens it will say "this app would like to use your current location"
5.CLICK YES!!!!!
The reason you need to click yes is because it needs to be able to track you to track your speed
Also, this will not and can not work for iPod/iPad wifi model.. The reason being is because the app needs a cellular signal to track you and your speed.

The speedometer is accurate and the HUD sold it!
I tried a few speedometer apps and they all had relatively accurate readings on my iPhone 4.
The UI of this app sold it to me, though: HUD. It was made for drivers. Tons of dials and brushed steel is not what I need when I need a quick glance. A nice big digital readout reflected on my windshield at night is perfect!
A compass on the display would finish it off.

Makes road trips more fun
I downloaded this on my iPhone for my boyfriend because he's constantly speeding and I figured this would be a fun way to make him more aware of the fact. It definitely did make him more aware, but now he likes to see all that he can do with the car!

Amazing
Ok, so I was out tonight. Got in car to drive home, and no dash board lights. So go to app store, decided I'd try this one. I sat it right at dashboard, and it shown right up onto the glass. It is easy to see, and I did check the speedometer on car to see how close it was. It was spot on. So love this app and would've had a tough time getting home without it.

HUD is amazing!
I was looking for a simple speedometer app when I came across this. The heads up display looked neat but I thought there was no way it could actually work well. After trying it out I was amazed, the heads up display is perfect and comes as a great addition to driving at night. Absolutely wonderful app!
