Description

Virtual Reality Treatment

This Virtual Reality app for cardboard (and other mobile VR glasses) is designed to help people suffering from Arachnophobia (intense fear of spiders) fight their fears.
Participants enter a virtual office in which they are exposed to small spiders. At least, at first.

This app takes place in a virtual office and guides you through different scenes in which spiders occur in an increasing intensity. Just as in a therapeutic setting you start with a small spider in a jar at a distance. You have control over when the next scene starts.

The design for this app is based on on modern therapy techniques and in was produced in close collaboration with psychologists.

NickM and JenM,
C'mon Man!
Thanks a lot, "developer". 15 minutes of my life wasted! What was scarier, hmm? Was it the time that the pixelated spider was dancing close to my hands, or was it the time the spider disappeared into my hands and then into the table? BTW, unless you're a fifty something year old white man, your hands couldn't possibly look like the hands this "developer" envisioned them to look like. Stop wasting people's time, "developer"!
djdhgb,
it’s pretty fun but basic
it’s a great game but it’s not as scary as it says it is. great experience but i’m still scared of spiders lol
SamtheMan27,
Broken, outdated, instantly deleted.
I was fairly excited about this, being a VR enthusiast that can’t afford a real VR yet. Also, I’m deathly scared of spiders, so I just decided to try it to see if it worked. It didn’t. The screen just went all over the place like the outdated VR apps do. Extremely disappointed. -Adderface25095
