HOW TO USE SPINART
When in Spin Mode (the button with the round arrows), swipe your fingers across the canvas to spin at varying speeds. Then switch back into Paint Mode (the paint roller button), and choose from five brush sizes and a color from the palette, then use your finger to splat some paint and watch some amazing patterns emerge!
When you're done, go back into Spin Mode, double tap on the spinning canvas to stop it and admire your final artwork!
It's great for kids too--let them get messy with paint without making a mess! After you save their masterpiece, sync up to your computer, print it out, and hang it on the fridge for all to see.

My imagination 2 the limit.
Someone has finally made a fun and usefull art app that i can use whenever im bored. I got this on sale at 99c and im happy i did because this app is really not worth 2$. Its a very fun and creative app, yes, but only for 1$ not 2. Im happy with this app and im not going to delete it any time soon.
But... Come on devs, if u actually read the reviews, most of them state that its great, but NEEDS MORE COLORS! I think this would be a very good update idea, and then it would probably be worth 2$. Maybe if its too hard for u to put more colors, u could leave the same colors, but have an option to make them glittery. ( glittery paint is also a big request here i see). If u make these things possible, im pretty sure all the people will be happy. (including me)!
Oh and btw to the people asking for a refund cuz they bought this for 2$ wen they could have gotten on sale, i mean come on! Seriously? The devs decided to put it on sale for others, and because u didnt wait gives u no reason to blame them, give a 1 review, or ask for a refund. I mean really are u gonna go to the company and say u want a refund? When they ask u why u want a refund ull say what? That ur stupid? Because that would be right. Come on people its ur fault u didnt wait for a sale so u have no right to go around asking for refunds!!!

Gave it a go. May be good for children.
Tried it, but it's just not to my liking. Saves at incredibly low resolution, but It looks like that's a plus for people with not much room on their devices. Also, the spinning effects me negatively neurologically, but I have problems in that area, so I'm sure that's nothing that would be an issue for most people . To the reviewer who couldn't clear the whole board, I think you have to hit the clear background button, not just create a new canvas. This might be very appealing to children, though. It's just not my cup of tea. I'm much more into creating artistic edits and graphics that are of large size print quality. It is interesting that it can load a photo from your camera roll in the background. Has potential. And I can see how it would be great fun for some.

Okay if u dot get how to use it look at the pictures.. If u still don't, hat u do is go to the app. Spin the paper by touching the white square thing on the bottom left. Spin it with ur fingers. Then click the one up from it to pick ur colors. And create ur own art(:

Don't miss the fun...
This app is a blast! The interface is excellent and it works well, every time. You spin the paper with your finger, choose one of three line sizes (and the spatter juiciness), pick a color, then touch with your fingertip to spread the paint. No nostalgia for me, never had this as I child, but it's absorbing and addictive. With one touch you can save your creation to your camera roll, or wipe the paper clean and start again. It's the best $1.99 I've spent in a long time.
2 things could improve it: the ability to bring an artwork back into the app and continue working with it, and a second color palette. Brian, how about it? I'd pay $ .99 for an update with these improvements, Spin Art is that good.

Spinart is Still My FAVORITE!
Updated Review: This was one of the first apps I purchased when I got my iPhone last year. It is still my favorite application. I have created so many uniquely beautiful designs -- probably close to 2000 by now. I go through and delete some occasionally so right now I have about 1200. I have used many of them as backgrounds for my computers at work and home. People are always complimenting me on my designs.
I noticed there are a few people who left negative reviews. All I can say is, they must NOT have a creative bone in their bodies! The amazing designs that can be created with Spin Art are only limited by your imagination. And NO, I do not know or work for the guy that created this app. I have used it for months now and I now consider myself an "expert" :) on Spin Art! Actually, I think the ONLY improvement this app could use would be even more variety in color and some glitter!

This is the spin-art I remember as a youngster on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore -- except that the amusement stand owner doesn't keep bugging you about "wasting too much paint" and continually urging you to "finish up" because there are other kids waiting for their turn.
This is a great time filler while waiting at the doctor's office or waiting for the next bus or subway -- you can put your mind in "neutral" and not be disturbed when your name is called by the nurse -- you can leave the app, put your I-Phone away, and then continue exactly where you left off a day or a week later. Highly recommended!

Fantastic and Original Idea!!!
Very fun and very simple interface. My only recommendations are just to put the simple instructions about what each button is for in the app somewhere like a new menu item when you select the Star button. Other than that, the other suggestions people have are nice but if you implement them please don't make the interface complicated. It is very nice right now with a modest set of buttons to select. Making the interface more complicated will detract from the application I think. With thousands of look-alike apps out there and ho-hum ideas, this stands ABOVE AND BEYOND in originality and execution.
