SpinnyWheel Hack 2.0 + Redeem Codes

I use this when teaching music lessons to add an element of fun to repetitive practice tasks. Students loooove spinning the wheel to see which song or technique we'll work on next, and each student can have their own customized wheel.

I have wheels for repertoire, for randomly choosing how many times to repeat a practice task, for rewards upon completion of a practice goal, etc.

The feature for how many ''lives" a choice has is extremely useful in this setting, and the ability to choose colors or themes to personalize wheels makes it visually appealing to kids. I recommend this app to almost every other music teacher I meet who works with children.

I use this as a replacement spinner for the book "Spintastik for the Family" (a spinning for chores & rewards system that I adapt to include practice tasks among the “chores”), and I recommend it to almost every parent in this capacity.

Four stars instead of five because I haven’t yet seen a way to share a wheel I’ve already created with another user. This would save a lot of time when recommending the app to other teachers and to parents, and get them into using the app right away instead of spending time customizing it.

The other feature I’d like to see is synchronizing my custom wheels between my devices (phone/tablet), and allowing another user to synchronize one or more wheels with mine.

Very clean and easy to use. I got this app to replace large wooden spinning wheels that we had cumbering the floor of our offices. Our business is moving to a paperless system with iPads rather than paper and this was something we needed.

The app is very user friendly and I especially liked the establishment of Lives. I think that in future there should be the ability to add more than 3 different customizable responses as you may have a plethora of giveaways that require different text.

I spoke to the developer regarding cross platform sharing and he assured me that this would be an upcoming development over the next few months. Our company could use this as a way to track spins remotely and report them. Our current method requires the office personnel making tally marks each time someone spins it, which is tedious and unreliable. He is also working to fix the background orientation issue where the image does not rotate. I noted this when I placed the company logo in the background and had it on it's side when I shifted to landscape.

I've downloaded several looking for the best one, and this is by far it. I still had to rate 3 stars because of one problem though. When you change the probability of landing on a certain option- it will change ones that you have already decided. I don't know if that made sense- here. Say you made 4 options- 1,2,3, and 4. I want there to be a 50% chance of landing on 1, and a 30% chance to land on 2. That would leave 20% to divide up 3 and 4. Making it 50 for 1, 30 for 2, 10 for 3, and 10 for 4. However, when I make #1 50%, instead of it locking in that I want 1 to be 50, it makes its slice smaller when I increase a different one. so when I bump up 2 to 30%, it shrinks down 1 from 50% to like 45%. Not a huge problem- but it becomes more of a problem when u have more options and want each chance to be exact. Sorry for the really long review- however fixing that to where once you decide the probability of one it locks in, would be nice. And you should have a button to unlock and lock certain ones.

Old Review: I really love your game, but there is one big problem. The game just closes out and when I get back in the game if I didn’t save something it didn’t save. It closes out ALOT! Here is another problem. It only lets me put 10 maybe 11 things in the wheel. When I spin the wheel and I have more than 11 things the wheel pops up but the things on the wheel don’t pop up then it closes out of the game. It should let me put as much as I want and not close out and not save. Just so you know, you know how I said if I put more than 10 or 11 it would close out of the app. It doesn’t do that anymore. Here is something you should add. You should add folders. If there were folders I could separate the nerf Gun Game wheels from the Lottery Game wheels. Sorry for the long review but may you please fix this problem.

I am a teacher and got this app for choosing students and activities at random. It is a lot of fun to use, and the first time I tried it, the students wanted to spin the wheel themselves.

One suggestion I would have is to have a way to set the number of "lives" as a standard throughout the set instead of having to set each one individually. This would save some time, especially when entering a whole class of student names.

The only problem I have encountered (after using about a week, so I'm not an expert!) is in changing the background. I made a photo of the class to serve as the background, but it seems to only appear in portrait mode. As I use the iPad on a stand that works only in landscape orientation, the photo is sideways! Haven't found a way to change that, although it would seem rather obvious.

Generally I really enjoy using the program. It has been a very useful addition to my classes. Thank you!

So I'm a Jewelry lady! Looking for ways to keep my hostess parties creative and fun! I tried the bingo generator that was Fun! But I'm more of a hands on wheel of fortune kind of lady lol. I spent hours looking for an app, I came across "spinny wheel", just by looking at its features I was sold. My ladies are going to love to spin this wheel, it will help my business grow! I spoke to the maker of the app about my opinions and I didn't think he would answer and I can say he did; he was very nice and informative and you can tell he cares for your thoughts and takes the time to explain! By All the comments I've read and the ratings this app will make it up there real fast!

I posted the message below about a year ago. Since then the app has been updated and I’m so glad to have it back!!! Thanks to the developer for listening, responding and making fixes. I highly recommend this app! I love the ability to customize the spinner. It works great for student behavior management and reward systems.

I love this app! It’s so clean and customizable. I’m so sad that it crashes all the time and hasn’t been updated for new versions of iOS. I’d highly recommend it if it didn’t crash and delete wheel options.

After looking at over 2 dozen spinner apps, I finally decided to purchase this one. I like that you can adjust how often a prize can be won, and the lifetime wins as well. I’ve opened the app 5 times in the last 10 minutes, and 4 times it has abruptly closed, not saving any of my work. I wanted to use this to replace a real spinner wheel at my business, as a fun incentive for my customers. But having an unreliable app that crashes often is not cool. Please fix!!

Looked at several spin wheel apps to set up a quick and fun training with my accounts. This one by far was the BEST! Easily customizable, great choices for color and percentages of the wheel. And EVERY spin can be a WINNER! Great for keeping it fun and positive. Looking forward to future updates coming to it this app.

Also able to see how often it landed on each choice to gauge what needs more focus.

Developer was able to have open dialogue about recommendations for improvements. Can't say anymore then that. Simply AWESOME!!

I just used this on an iPad to manage the dispersal of over 80 gifts at an event. It tracked the inventory of each type of gift, making the actual event a breeze.

I’m sure some of my colleagues will be buying this app as well after seeing it in action! Everybody was impressed with how it looked and how interactive it was. It was a big hit for the $.99 price tag!

The one thing I would have liked to see was the ability to adjust inventory on the fly. We had some items given away outside of the application and there was no easy way to account for that after the spinning had begun. It just meant some folks got a free spin. ;-)

We also couldn’t get the sound working for whatever reason.

Still giving it 5 stars given the value you get for the cost!!
