I love the concept of this app. I’ve actually been looking and hoping to find a spoons app so I can pay more attention to my spoon use. But this app is also really confusing to me, and lacking.
First, as far as I can tell, every day starts out with exactly 12 spoons, even if you’ve “borrowed” spoons for activity from the day before. Maybe it’s assuming that sleep resets your spoons? But that’s not the case with every person. If I had to borrow spoons yesterday, it’s going to take a few days to make those up and get back to baseline.
Second, there are no stats on your spoon use. There’s only stats for your mood. I already track my heart rate, hrv, symptoms & mood, food, etc. all in different apps for the purpose of gaining insight and managing living with chronic illness. So what is the point of the effort of tracking my activity and spoons in *another* app if it isn’t going to give me any insight? How many days do I go over 12 spoons? What activities are often costing me the most spoons? What days to I manage my spoons better and why?
I really hope that this app continues to be developed and features added. Developer, the above are some suggestions!
