Description

Spotlighter lets you highlight an arbitrary region within an image, by dimming the background around it in a spotlight-like fashion. Optionally, you can blur the background as well.

You can edit your photos either from within the Spotlighter app, or from the Edit menu of the built-in Photos app.

The selection tool now changes its appearance depending on the selection style (rectangle or ellipse).
The app now remembers the last used adjustments (blur radii, dimming intensity) and selection style (rectangle or ellipse) and uses them as starting values when editing an unmodified image. When resuming editing of an image that has adjustment data instead, the edits from the last session are used instead (just like before).
