WHO IT'S FOR
• Anyone who wants to build an exercise habit but has struggled with consistency. The point of Spotter is NOT to give you a million workout plans or some celebrity's program. It's to help you do what you know you need to do - exercise consistently.
• Any type of exerciser. For most people, weightlifting is the most effective program to lose fat and gain muscle/strength, but any exercise counts. So if walking, running, yoga, swimming, or anything else is your thing, it works for us.
• Anyone who wants to share the gift of a healthy life with others. If you're already a regular exerciser and want to help others, Spotter offers a generous members-only referral program that helps you when you help others help themselves.
WHO IT'S NOT FOR
• Anyone who can't commit to exercising at least 3X per week for at least 3 months (with a few weeks off to rest).
• Anyone looking for a workout tracker. Spotter simply proves a workout by a post-workout selfie. It's not a detailed sets and reps tracker (yet).
HOW IT WORKS
1. Set a workout target between 3 and 5 workouts per week.
2. Set the number of off weeks where you don't have to hit the target you set. Recovery is important, too.
3. After a workout, take a sweaty selfie to prove you worked out.
4. Invite Spotters. Your Spotters will receive an email every Monday with your workout results from the last week. If you skip too many, they'll know!
WHY IT WORKS
Most people's problem isn't an inefficient workout plan or not trying hard enough. It's consistency. Spotter helps by holding you accountable to people who care about you.
If you have the desire, an achievable goal, and a supportive community, it will work.
OTHER FEATURES
• 24+ customizable workout plans to help you get started. There are enough plans to find an effective on for you, but not so many where you have to scroll through hundreds to find one. In reality, if you execute a program that is proven to work for 99% of people, it'll work for you, too.
• Social Fitness. Follow other members, see a feed of their workouts, and like and comment on posts.
• Groups. Make private groups with your friends where you can compete and see each other's progress.
• Calendar. See a calendar view of your workouts with the effort (how hard you went) and energy (how you felt) of each workout.
