Detects metals
This devise would work in detecting a listening devise if it was made out of metal, but it will also pick up anything else metal. The app went off when I placed it against the vents on the ceiling. When I took it off there was nothing there, but it kept going off on the vent. I then tested it on a hammer and it went off again. So you wouldn't be able to tell if there was a listening devise/camera in something metal unless you took it apart.
