Description
Shri Parmahansa Tailang Swami was a great yogi who lived between 1607-1887. Shri Tailang was full of love, an embodiment of simplicity and restraint.
Shri Tailang Swami developed Saral Yoga, Light Yoga, which puts an emphasis on the practice of the mind in the development of virtues, bringing about the control of personal inclinations and the purification of the heart and soul.
The spiritual practice of Saral Yoga consists of 31 daily guidelines for the correction of morals (Yam Niyam), one for each day of the month, which must be practiced on a daily basis - in thought, speech and action.
The instructions of Yam Niyam were conveyed on to Dr. Udi Bilu and Shihan Ronen Katz, who are leading the Bhrigu Yoga in Israel, and to other students, by their teacher Shiv Shankar Tripathi (Shibuji) from Varanasi, a disciple of Shri Brahma Gopal Bhaduri, from the Brighu Yoga tradition
