The SSP Spelling Piano® app replaces the previous version, created in 2014 for iPad and introduces the Speech Sound Monsters®, making phonemes visible. The SSP Spelling Piano app is designed for the neurodiverse classroom, and supports easier Orthographic Awareness and Learning for neurodivergent students through Code Mapping® and Monster Mapping® - taking both a 'speech to print' and also 'print to speech' approach to teaching phonics systematically.

Children use this app to quickly and more easily learn the Grapheme to Phoneme Correspondences (GPCs) tested in the UK Year 1 Phonics Screening Check (PSC) The app is designed to address phonemic awareness deficits and engage dyslexic brains, and help more learners shift into the implicit learning phase earlier!

Use this SSP Spelling Piano app alongside the ICRWY Lessons app.
