Description
St. John XXIII Catholic School represents 150 years of Catholic Education dedicated to encouraging and developing well-rounded, self-confident and compassionate children and young adults who lead successful, mindful and service-driven lives. We are committed to providing a challenging, structured and inspiring learning environment led by highly qualified and experienced teachers in (appropriately sized classrooms). Our school community is the foundation on which our core principles of faith and hard work bind us together as a family. We believe that here, you are home.
Our faculty is comprised of a seasoned, highly educated and expertly trained team of educators who have extensive classroom experience; as well as specialized instructors for Spanish, Art, Music, Technology and intervention needs. Our 430 current students benefit from about a 22 to 1 student faculty ratio, where over half of the administrative, teaching, enrichment and intervention staff hold Master’s or other postgraduate degrees.
St. John XXIII recognizes and encourages the diversity that each individual brings to our school community. We foster personal growth and accept the responsibility to develop the talents and abilities given to each of our students. While St. John XXIII School provides a Catholic, values-oriented education, 30% of our students are non-Catholic.
The academic program at St. John XXIII begins in the preschool, where teachers administer a state-accredited early childhood education program to three to five year-olds. Our goal is to create well-balanced and positive young people who embody perseverance in facing challenges and engage in the betterment of the future. Our youngest learners are afforded all of the same amenities as the upper grades, including access to multiple forms of technology, the library and the playgrounds.
From Our Parents
“John 23 is like having family educate your child.”
–Nicole Kirsch
“Five years ago we made the decision to move our daughter from another school to St. John XXIII because we were looking for a school that could help her grow educationally. We have been so happy with our decision because not only has our daughter grown from the curriculum but also because of the emphasis the school places on Christian values. We now have two children enrolled and only wish we had made the decision sooner to join the St. John XXIII Family.”
– Steve and Michelle West
“When we send our kids to St. John XXIII we know they are getting the best education in the area – but it’s more than that. It’s a community of integrity and kindness that builds future leaders.”
