An anime adaptation began airing on April 2011, and it is becoming increasingly popular.
The story found in STEINS;GATE is not your usual time traveling fare, but is a "hypothetical science adventure" focused on the structure of time travel itself.
Many of the situations and scientific concepts referred to in the game have been plucked from real science; the story-line is therefore credible and intellectual stimulating for players.

Great Game, amazing story!
WARNING: this version is Japanese ONLY (as of writing this) but an English version for iOS is coming "soon".
The game which spawned ports to many platforms (Xbox 360 was the original), a tv series, movie, 8-bit version and now prequel and sequel games. If you haven't played it yet give any of the English releases a try, you won't be sorry!

Chaos Head が結構面白かったので楽しみにしていましたが、評判通り非常に面白かったです。
今回の主人公は所謂「邪気眼」持ちというんでしょうか、自称「機関に狙われるマッドサイエンティスト」な大学生ですが、リーダーシップがあり本当は優しい、好感の持てるキャラです。
カテゴリーとしてはギャルゲーになるかもしれませんが、恋愛描写はほとんど無くSFアドベンチャーとしての要素が強いです。
２ちゃんねる用語がそこかしこに出てくるので、ああいうノリが許せる人なら楽しめると思います。
シナリオは一本道ですが、各ヒロインとのエンディング含めて感動系です。
各エンドで前向きではあるけれど色んな犠牲を払っているだけにTRUEエンドの感動はひとしおでした。
その点も含めて小説ではなくゲームという媒体で出した良さがあったと思います。
テーマであるタイムトラベルの理論については正直よく分からない部分も多かったけれどストーリーはテンポ良く緊張感もあって一気にプレイしました。
システム面は操作しやすく、他ハードでの価格を見てもiPadユーザーなら買いだと思います。
