Stir - Single Parent Dating Hack 23.09.01 + Redeem Codes

I really enjoy Stir, love the kind of people that are on here. Membership is a bit pricey, for me smoking is an absolute dealbreaker, so I don’t know why I cannot screen out profiles for things like that. They need to improve the users control over what they see. I spent several minutes reading and looking at pictures and then realize I missed the smoking thing again. Similar options should exist for drinking 420 etc.

And the parenting questions are confusing personally people, I see profiles with ladies in their late 40s saying they definitely want more kids. They way they ask you the questions and the options they give you are confusing and then what they say to other people your answer is not worded at all like what you selected. Needs work there as well.

Overall I like the app, enough that I got the membership even at this price, but 4 stars because of too much time looking at people I am not at all interested in, not really being able to trust what is says about whether someone wants kids (as in do they want to meet someone who has kids, do they want to adopt with someone, or do they want to give birth to children) I mean, the central theme in this app is we are people who have kids so how is it that did not get done more carefully? Love some of the people I am seeing on here, they just seem more real and human than other dating apps.

Hi, I have been using this app and the interface is nice. It’s very close to match which I found easy to use. I feel as a single parent it’s missing some vital info. 1. You need to be able to put your religion. For most people with children that’s important to find someone with similar values and beliefs. 2. The ability to filter your preferences by religion and race. I myself am an equal opportunity employer but, not everyone is. 3. You should also be able to put your political beliefs. 4. You should be able to list how many kids you have and their ages. 5. Level of Education should also be included in the profile. Not sure if that needs to be in the filter option , but, race, religion, and political views should be. I’m surprised this app doesn’t inclue these things when Match does. Single Parents are way more picky about that stuff. We aren’t only searching for a potential partner for ourselves but a partner that will be a good example to our kids as well.

I downloaded this app because I liked the idea that Ianyone I met would already know that I had children and to meet other single parents.

Herein lies the problems, if you navigate away from writing your profile or sending a message to someone, you lose it. Well you can message mutual matches for free, we can’t see who likes you to know if it’s a mutual match; so it’s basically a gamble if you happen to stumble across each other‘s profiles and like one another.
You can’t review profiles that you’ve liked, and can’t even review your mutual matches. I got a notification of him he’s full match, started to write had to stop, lost the message and now I can’t write to them anymore. Single parents are busy! We’re not always going to have time to write a profile in one sitting or send a message to somebody in one sitting. I understand that this is “a premium service“ $120 all at once for six months is not necessarily in everyone’s budget. Maybe offer at 7 or 14 day free trial to see if we want to pay for those features.
Overall I’m really frustrated and highly considering deleting.

First of all, great idea. You can brows for free and even match and chat. For the other features you have to pay a hefty price for such a simple app. Day one already matched with some cool people and have been chatting it up, all good stuff there. The users seem real.
What I don't like is again the price. Also why is there a daily limit on how many people you can see? That is the dumbest “feature ever” even paying the premium, it’s still there. On to of that, the app glitches and keeps showing me the same people over and over making it so that I see even less posible matches. It’s so frustrating. Lat thing that bugs me is that when you are looking at a profile, at the bottom it has similar matches. When you click those, you cant message or like them. So lame! Please fix the app!
Also there is no real algorithm for matching other than age, location, and basic preferences.
I would be happy to keep paying if all of these were fixed.

I paid the 20 USD to get the full app experience for a week - and if it accomplished anything it is not wanting to find new love in my life. Like so many said in previous reviews as a single parent this app is a bit pricey. My matches were looking for anything but a relationship. I have collectively never met worse guys than on this app. Something is completely wrong on their selection algorithm which should be more than just age, location and kids. You are very limited on how much information you can provide on your profile, or how interests are matched up, and pictures are not verified as compared to other apps. You match because of the picture you like, pretty much like selecting a meal on a restaurant menu. Guys are looking for (bleep) and definitely not for a long term partner/friendship. I have received explicit pictures and messages from pretty much anyone I had more than a two minute conversation with. There is a way to report users, but sometimes it was like a car crash, so bad you couldn’t look away. There is a way to delete your profile - thank goodness. 6 days later and I am done for good.

I registered, provided my pictures and other personal information that they asked for, and when I tried to log in the next day, I received an error message that access to my account was blocked by the admins. I reached out to customer support only to receive the below email. “Please know that due to our Terms of Use, your Stir account has been terminated. We believe this action to be in the best interests of our member community. Any new accounts created will be subject to review and will be immediately terminated.” No explanation, no reason why it was terminated and why any new account that I would create (which I definitely won’t after this) would be terminated! I am a legitimate single mom and I provided my own information and pictures. When I demanded an explanation and for my personal information to be deleted from their servers, they said “Due to our privacy practices, we cannot disclose specifics about any Match account, including your own.” I’m very frustrated and DO NOT RECOMMEND this app to anyone, unless you want your personal information stolen.

This app didn’t really work for me for multiple reasons, but at this point I don’t care about how functional the app is. When I used the app, it was always trying to find ways to get me to pay MORE to get more content or to see more matches. I just kind of let it go and forgot about it. Well, I woke up this morning with a $40 subscription fee for an app that I don’t even use. You’d think if an app is already collecting so much money, that they wouldn’t try to up sell you every time you open the app.

$40 down the drain for something I don’t even use. I canceled my subscription, but again, y’all keep trying to upsell people who, apparently, already have $40 subscriptions. This app is genuinely not worth that much money. Put your money towards human contact. This was honestly my first experience on a dating app, and I probably won’t ever use these things again. Plus all the personal information this app has access to? I think this is the first time I regret downloading an app. I never write reviews, but this app deserved one.

Take the least amount of value you can think of for your money without actually getting robbed. That is Stir. There is not nearly the amount of users as the other platforms such as Match for example (stir is owned by Match) so expect to be offered “matches” 1-2 hours away regardless of the criteria. On a dating app specifically designed for single parents. Expect to be “matched” with people you’ve already chosen to be not a match, 24 hours later and multiple times going forward. Expect to have no possibility of a refund. Expect to have no possibility of using your membership on a different site owned by Match whether it be an option within the app or via a credit for dissatisfaction. This is a great idea in theory with the poorest execution possible. Anyone who’s ever been a single parent knows you either cannot permanently leave the State if you “match” with someone long distance nor would most single parents even be able to do so logistically. Total waste of time and money.

I downloaded this and paid for the subscription. I don’t get matched with anyone even though I fiddle with the parameters and can’t choose to look at any other profiles except the ones suggested once a day. There is no options on height or what they are looking for or they will be super far away outside of state in the suggested even though I didn’t choose outside of 90 miles. I tried to cancel from beginning but when I found out how bad it was. The won’t let you cancel or refund and keep taking money. If you click help it takes you to their website of a blank page. I tried through phone, pc and tablet. Please people don’t pay or stay away from it. I hope I save some of you.

#1 I’m a single parent I thought maybe this would help. I rather date someone who knows what it’s like. Money is tight sometimes and yet you know I thought I made a good investment into trying to find someone with this. Just taking money from people and not giving a care.

Lots of responses here from the developers claiming they’ve listened and fixed problems. But if they have, I’m not seeing it. After uploading pictures, filling out bio, answering prompts, etc, all likes are blurred out. I have a few messages this morning and only ONE shows the photo and allows me to see what he wrote. And it’s not someone I ‘liked’ so I’m pretty confused as it’s not a match. If I tap the other messages it takes me to the pay options, all of which are spendy. I can’t even see what they wrote sans photo. I can’t
tell if this app is worth it from what little they show you on the stripped down ‘free’ side, so I’m certainly not going to lock myself into an expensive subscription.

Also, screening is nil. Tons of guys without kids. When I x-out someone the app shows them to me again. I also have no idea what the star icon or lightning icon means and can’t find any explanation anywhere. This was a hood idea, but poorly executed.
