Super user-friendly
As a board member of a small nonprofit I strive to be intentional about using our resources wisely while still putting out compelling stories about our mission and the people we serve. This is a great tool that is easy for a non tech savvy person such as myself to use. I love the tips and tutorials. Their support team is also really responsive and helpful. I look forward to seeing how they grow and how that can benefit us with new ways to reach a wider audience. I also appreciate that, while simple additions such as a microphone or a stabilizer are great, I can still get good video without them.

Conceptually a Home Run
My motivation for downloading this app was to gain access to a “director in my pocket” and I’ve found that with so many great educational components. While it’s the early version of the app (and I know it’ll be improved with updates and bug fixes on an ongoing basis) - what I’m most impressed with is the quality of the instructional elements : videos like how to get a great interview from your subject / or what B-roll shots to collect are appreciated.

Tell your story with ease...
As a filmmaker for the past 20 years, I’m so happy that something like this exists for non-profits and ANYONE. It takes you step by step on how to tell your story from building the right questions to ask for an interview to how to get the right shots. They’ll even edit the videos for you for a great deal.

Beautifully designed app
There is a wealth of knowledge in this app. I’m really impressed with how much detail they give you on how to get cool camera shots, interview tips and even the important legal stuff regarding releases.
It’s easy to follow and will help a lot of people tell great stories!
