1. Better, faster and branded videos
All video processing will now take place in the cloud on the story manager admin system. This means:
Faster sharing with smaller video file sizes.
Reduction in volume differences by normalising audio between blocks.
Improved video quality
Organisational branding on exported videos (logo, name and title) from the admin system.

We’ve added more improvements to the app experience so users will benefit from better performance:
Background uploads so there’s no need to stay in the StoryTagger app.
Cloud-based compression for faster video submissions.
Faster performance on older devices.
Reduction in memory issues on older devices running multiple apps.

We're removing the feature that automatically downloads videos to a user’s device. Many of you would like to manage this feature so we’re working on how to give administrators more control.
We’re looking forward to sharing more exciting features during winter 2019/20. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for using StoryTagger! This update marks the first step in rolling out the next generation of StoryTagger.
All users will need to upgrade their accounts by creating a password. This not only makes sure that the StoryTagger app continues to meet IT security requirements, but it will allow us to release additional helpful features in September 2019.
