The free Stream Vision 2 mobile application is a powerful mobile client expanding the features and use scenarios of thermal imaging, digital night vision and multispectral electro-optic devices from PULSAR and YUKON. The application enriches the functionality of electro-optic devices by allowing them to work in combination with smartphones. Linking the electro-optic device via a Wi-Fi connection with a smartphone enables the smartphone to act as a file browser, viewfinder for direct unit-to-phone image streaming, remote control for changing unit’s settings on-the-go, firmware update platform, and offers many more functions. After registration in the application, the user gets free space in the Stream Vision 2 Cloud for storage of both photos and videos. Stream Vision 2 gives an opportunity to receive the latest news about technologies and happenings in the world of night vision and thermal imaging.

The improved software is great
My thermal imaging equipment is Axion XQ38. Using the new Stream Vision2, the experience is better than the old Stream Vision, but the Wifi connection will still be delayed. I hope that the Pulsar official can continue to improve this application and add dynamic tracking

Great improvement from SV1
I use a Trail 2 XP50 LRF. In the first version of the app, I would lose connectivity when downloading videos to my iPhone. Also, the viewfinder lagged by several seconds. The longer the viewfinder was on, the longer the lag time became, making viewfinder useless. I would have rated Streamvision 1 three stars at best.
Streamvision 2 fixed all issues. Viewfinder doesn’t lag, connectivity is no longer an issue, plus the updated device controls are more intuitive. This app took care of pretty much all the things I had trouble with in the previous version. Thank you Pulsar!

Awesome wayyyyy better then original stream vision
Haven’t tried the app with my trail yet but with my thermion it works AWESOME!!! Original stream vision disconnects almost always right as the video is about to download I just downloaded my whole memory card with no issues. Also with original app I couldn’t get the videos to download to my iPad but with the 2.0 they are downloading great!

I did get a brief “stream isn’t running” message a couple times, but it only lasts a few seconds and then worked again.

iPhone Connection Issue
If you have an iPhone, you may need to turn off Cellular Data for the app to connect to the scope. After an hour or so resetting, removing and reinstalling the app, restarting the phone, finally found a post to disable Cellular Data. Updating the firmware is challenging as wi-if is connected to the scope and cellular data is turned off, so there’s no Internet. Hopefully they fix this dumb error soon!

Love the features of the app hate the quality
I like how the app works as far as the things you can do with it. The features are cool I love the streaming but...
Since the latest update I can't connect to the scope anymore when it does connect the streaming laggs and freezes more that the first app did and it can be a pain just to connect. If the connectability was better and the app had no lag or delays it would be a 5 star.

Causes bad iPhone reception
Here is an odd one. I give it 2 stars bc the app with the scope works great. I love it.
However, all of my phone calls are now seriously broken up. With 5 full 5G bars, all calls, to cell and landlines are completely useless. For both me and the recipient. As soon as the app is deleted, no problem!

app refuses to load
first version i loaded seemed to work fine. Updated to latest version, clicked wifi on on pulsar x2 50 pro scanner and attempt to connect device and it shows me the device screen for a half a second and closes app. ive removed the app and reloaded it multiple times with no luck. Now looking for a new app to use.

Won’t update firmware
As near as I can tell everything works like it should. I can’t get the firmware to update on my Helion 2 CQ 50. The original Stream Vision app I couldn’t get my picture or videos to open on my phone. This one seams to work like it should. And able to adjust settings. Not complete if you can’t update your firmware. Needs some work.

Good app but a little tricky to set up.
If you have an IPhone, you might bowed to turn off your cellular service in settings before you and get it to connect. Other than that, great for relieving eye strain and simplifying recoding.
