Description

Student Check In is a simple and fast replacement for the paper sign in sheet. Designed for Admissions, Registration, clinics and Counseling offices, this app improves your customer service by automatically documenting, sorting and time stamping each person as they arrive. The students and/or visitors sign in with their name, id, phone number, department and reason for their visit. The information is then sent to each desktop in a check list format to allow staff to acknowledge and respond to the students quickly. Optionally, the system can send a text message to a staff member, notifying them someone is waiting.

Organization is key to office efficiency and Student Check In is just the app to organize students and visitors quickly.

We've added an idle screen timer for the times when someone does not complete all the screens. If a question screen stays idle for more than 30 seconds, the information already entered is sent to the displays and the kiosk is cleared for the next person. Any touch of a button extends the timer to 30 seconds.

We are adding flexibility to the system. At the request of our customers, we've added numerical keys to the first screen to allow for Student ID. Now the first screen can be used for any combination of characters such as Name or Student ID.

Building on the requests of our customers, we've added some more question screens. We added the dedicated phone number screen and one more text question option.

Student Check In turns an iPad into a quick kiosk style check in system. Screens ask for the name, phone number, up to 2 text questions and reason for visit. Reasons and questions are completely customizable to fit your office needs. The information is sent the back end server database to track progress through the office and help customer service be more efficient.

We added keys to the text questions, allowing them to be used for generic questions such as Student ID, Email or Phone number.
We added some error checking also. If the information doesn't reach the server, the app will present an easily understandable error to help your staff respond quicker.
