Why fast anyway?

Fasting is a terrific way to retrain your mind and body to eat only when you are truly hungry. From a scientific standpoint, fasting is the metabolic state where you have completed the digestion and absorption of a meal (around 3 to 5 hours after eating). While you fast, your body continues to burn excess fat. You might start out fasting from dinner to breakfast, and then work towards fasting from dinner to lunch. With practice, you can fast for longer periods of time. It’s important to only use fasting for healthy weight loss. Fasting can be deadly for people under the normal recommended weight for their age and gender.

You can use fasting with most diets. A popular combination is using fasting with the Ketogenic diet since the Ketogenic diet is already burning fat for fuel. There are also different durations for how long to fast. A popular choice to start out with is the 16 hours fasting/8 hours to eat window that lasts each 24 hour cycle. Once you conquer this you can consider trying out intermittent fasting where you’ll fast for 18 hours in between each meal. If you eat dinner the night before then you can start your next meal as a late lunch lunch, and so on. There are several other extended durations for fasting. We recommend starting out slowly, feeling confident with the duration and then making adjustments to fast for a longer time.

Fasting with privacy
There are several fasting apps out there, some simple and others loaded with features. One thing they seem to have in common is the requirement to create an account for even basic usage. Accounts = data tracking, and I don’t want my fasting data to be a marketable product. But guess what! Stupid Simple Fasting is simple and non-invasive! The ads are unobtrusive, the timer is easy to use, and the app will even send encouraging messages on request. Well done, developers.

It fixes a precise time when you hungry after analysis and immediately stand you in a way of diet program. Which is pretty cool as you can easily start a diet to lose weight. App tracks water and salt amount and then motivate to eat. And of corse provide photos before and after to show evident result of you gain it.

Not as hard as you might think
I tried fasting with this app just out of curiosity as I was sure I couldn’t handle it. But it turned out to be not as difficult as I expected. I don’t really know how long I will be able to stick to fasting, but for now this app motivates me not to eat at night.

Wow. Love this app. I’ve tried 10 different apps and the updates always ruined the app. Love how u can tap the counter and it changes to time left and time you’ve been fasting. Love the way that I can adjust the fasting time whenever.

Really really great app

My only qualm is that the design looks a bit “childish”. Maybe it’s the colors or something.
I think pastels would look nicer. Or darker colors. But if the goal is to keep it colorful then pastels would be cool.

This is my official and only fasting app now!

Please never change the core of it! I love it!

I can track my progress in fasting and this is really very convenient to have all these numbers in one application :)
I like that the interface is bright and I would even name it to be a positive tracker :)

I really love food. This is problem. This is a problem that I recently started to struggle with. After a long search, I settled on this app. The bottom line is that it motivates me to eat less food. I guess it uses psychological techniques.
