*If you are experiencing a volume issue, make sure your iPad's mute button (switch on the right hand side of the iPad) is turned off. Also, please turn up the iPad's media/game volume by trying these steps: 1) use the volume buttons on the side of the iPad; 2) open up the 'Music' application and use the onscreen volume slider to increase the media volume; 3) double press the iPad Home Button to bring up the fast switching menu on the bottom of the screen. Then swipe this menu from left to right twice, which brings you to a volume level. Drag the slider from left to right to increase the media volume.

good but one problem
this game is very fun to play! the thing that bothers me is when I play the princess game, there are no more letters left to pick to complete the word. please fix it as soon as possible!

Bugs frustrate my daughter and me!
The princess one where she swims around asks for letters that aren’t visible to choose. I’ve tried it many times. I’ve tried turning my device to see if the orientation of the screen matters but it doesn’t. I want to like it more, but this isn’t good.

Lots of bugs
We cannot get the red game (girl character on bottom left) to work. We get an error message and then the game freezes up. I see that someone is experiencing the same problem with the game.
The other issue is with the underwater sounds game (girl character upper right). In this game, the user hears a letter sound and is supposed to find the letter that makes the sound. Unfortunately, the sounds are almost impossible to make out (actually sounds like someone doing it underwater). If anything, it is just frustrating for a child.
We haven't tried the dog game yet, but the two boy character games seem to work fine.

FIX IT
Several of the games have missing letters! Which means you keep looking but they aren’t there and your can’t advance. So basically they get you to pay for it and not be able to use it!! So unless you want to pay for something that is going to make your kid frustrated and turn into wallpaper for your device, STAY AWAY!

My girls LOVE it!
My girls are big fans of the show & this is a nice interactive app that incorporates much of what they love. They seem to be learning quite a bit from it, which is good. The Super Why ABC App had no tech issues or any glitches & we've been using it since it released. Top & Center on our iPad's app list!

Thoughtless Design
I love the TV show for my kids, but this game is poorly designed. None of the mini games have any real value. The game where you trace the letters is unduly finicky, making it hard for little hands. The game where you pick the items that match a chosen letter is awful, because the items are ridiculous things that a 3 year old cannot reliably identify. The dot to dot is lame, overcrowded, and again unduly finicky. Overall, I was very disappointed. There are many better educational games out there for iPad, like Monkey Lunchbox and Tozzle. Save your money.

Slow paced and boring
I wish this app was more of a faster paced game. The students even said "it takes too long". And it does take far too long! This isn't an app malfunction issue, it's the design of the game. This is turn makes for a boring app with boring activities. The students played for a few minutes before asking to play something else. I'm totally bummed because I bought the bundle and I had high hopes! :-/
