Good but needs some though
yeah it's a good game for being free, but i'm gonna rip on the game not the level count so take this into effect if thinking about the fill version. I love the gameplay and the level design and everything but. Each block takes FOREVER to break i don't want to have to hit each block 2-6 times to break it. Next the powers are kinda wonky like most are punishments rather than powers small ball which makes it go faster, big ball which makes it go way to slow, fast ball, which makes it fast, time warp makes it slow when it gets near the paddle which can be good, but i get bored waiting for it, and auto pilot - i don't want the game playing it for me. the powers in jirbobreak or i think its called Astrotilt now are better, but this doesn't have ghetto little characters as theme. Get the lite, not the full, unless the full becomes $0.99 then it's safe to get

I love this game
This game is so fun and I’m the first one to write a review apparently this game has been in the App Store since 2009 and no one ever wrote a review for this game that’s funny lol😂🤣

Very good (and free), but several annoying glitches
This is a very good game. It is much better than any other brick game I have played. The power-ups, paddle physics, and levels are very unique and very fun to play. However, there are a couple of things that are really stupid.
First, this game goes too fast. It is very hard to keep up with the ball if it hits a brick in the first or second row, especially when your finger gets in the way.
Second, there is a glitch with the touch controls that moves your paddle to the complete opposite side of the screen if you go too close to one side. This causes a lot of lost lives. No fun.
This is still a very good game, you get 6 normal levels, 6 puzzle levels, and 3 versus levels for free. I would definitely recommend it, just take the flaws with a grain of salt.

Fun Application
I like the app, it's fun to play. My boys like to play it as well. I just wish there wasn't the startup sound when you click on the app for the first time. If you turn off the sound, you don't get the startup sound when your starting a new game. If the sound is on and you leave the app, when you click on the app, it will ask you if you want to continue or to go to the main menu. If you continue your game, you don't get the startup sound. But if you go to the main menu, you get the sound. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the startup sound.

I gotta' tell ya', I was concerned when I read the update that it would over-ride the last version, so I went to the reviews...I'm glad I did...SpiffyWare, you have a wonderfull reputation for responding to your clients; so, I felt I should submit a review to assist those who updated & were disappointed... sure as I would have been. The last version is truly, the best thus far. I'm no game designer, but I am an avid gamer. You had a lot of positive reviews with the previous version & would probably have more success releasing this new version as a totally seperate game. Not tryin' to hate on y'all, I think your apps & customer support based on feedback is top-notch. But, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

15 levels = 6 Levels for the Classic mode, 6 Levels for the Puzzle mode, and 3 for Versus.
Pros
Fast paced and challenging
3 different levels of play (normal - test of skill - madness)
Cool stuff hidden in some of the bricks (Giant ball, Indestructiball, etc)
Puzzle mode is my favorite, but not really a puzzle at all. It just warps you into different rooms when you hit the warp-brick
Levels are not quickly finished
Move the paddle with your finger or tilting the iPhone (tilt gets you bonus points)
Cons
After finishing the 6 levels, you're left wanting more!

I have played many brick breaker games in my life and had been waiting patiently for a good designer to make one for the iphone and here it is. Here is a simple breakdown
Pros: free (unlimited use of trial), tilt option or manual, interesting and unique bonuses such as time warp, pretty good graphics
Cons: about ten free levels before you gotta drop money, new update makes it rather buggy, they added a really annoying arrow after the ball hits the paddle to notify you where the ball is going to go (SO ANNOYING!!)

Now I wish I had a game like this back in the 80's when Pac Man was big. They did have that brick game but this is way more fun! What can I say, it's everything a game like this needs: smooth grapics, fairly good sound effects, and lots of variety in each level. The paddle is very responsive on finger mode or tilt mode. Developer(s) give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done! I would hope that other game app developers take note!

Everything WAS good
Everything was good until the update of using the power ups in the game for example the wide paddle or multi ball you only had to break the brick and not catch it I think that makes it too hard to use any or the power ups or whatever you want to call them. You can't try to catch them because the ball is moving too fast and it's like you chose to save the ball and lose the power up or you try to catch the power up and you lose a live so that's a waste fix this plZ make it back to jut breaking the brick

this app is the best
I started playing this right after I bought it, and was hooked for 45 minutes!! it has amazing graphics, and is an all around great game.
the only minor problem I had was when I had more balls added to the screen, the balls seemed to freeze up a little. idk if it's just my iPod that does it, but again it's just a minor problem and easy to ignore.
