Good Game!
This game had quite a different twist to it from previous ones in this series. However, I found it to be enjoyable, seemed light on hidden object scenes and heavy on puzzles. Voiceovers were good, graphics had lots of special effects - only I found things to be quite blurry at times. Teleporting map and a journal was provided. Collectible flowers to find to release an extra hidden object section. I felt it had some very clever aspects, such as the underwater scene. No glitches were experienced or screen delays. My only suggestion to the developers is to keep the graphics clear - not blurry (to hard on the eyes)
Recommend purchasing & having fun with it. Definitely Worthwhile!

Fun!
Very imaginative and well-thought out storyline, lovely scenery. I especially liked the desert of forgotten toys, with a giant rubber ducky in the background🐥😲. Characters are inventive. Puzzles are easy to medium. Hops are quite unique. Even though the puzzles were fairly easy, I still found this game enjoyable. I always like collecting the little flowers in this series, which unlock bonus hops, and there are morphing dolls of the characters to find as well. Game length is longer than average. Bonus story is good as well, elephant really put a lot of effort and creativity into this game!

Glitch in Bonus Game
Loved the game, but when I got to the bonus game, I got stuck. Clicking the hint took me back to the desert scene inside the house. Hint showed I was then supposed to pick something up from the bag there, but there was nothing there to pick up. Had to call it quits with half the bonus game to go. Went on BigFish forum and saw another person had reported the exact same problem 9 months ago — supposed to pick up the lens there, but there was nothing to pick up. Apparently they didn’t bother to fix it for the iOs version. It’s been a long time since I had to quit a game because of a glitch — disappointed, as I was really enjoying the game to that point.

Nice story
I am very tied of magical theme games and ancient time games with little story or plot. The game is not one off them. It is modern times game in some type of underworld that look like the back woods of the south after you left a modern city. You fight three bothers playground dice for lives. The people you meet have some good character development. Seems like a lot of this game actually tells a story. What unique idea. Wish more games did that. It is a movie where you interact. Really enjoyable. Hope this company makes more like it.

My favorite series
I am well into the game and still enjoying it. What not to like? The plot is intriguing as usual, typical to Surface series. Minigames are fun. The teleporting map tells you, if you have picked up all the collectibles: flowers and dolls, so you don’t have to waste your time looking for them (the fact, which usually annoys me). The only thing, that Elephants missed this time, is graphics. Used to be crispier.

Mini games too hard!
I play a lot of these games. Never casual, usually advanced. And many where there are no directions to the mini games and you have to figure them out completely. Even with directions, I couldn’t figure many of these out. Which is sad because once I saw them solved, I realized it would have been fun to do. I play for the games, not for the hidden object scenes. The game otherwise was fun. On sale, for $2.99,it maybe deserves a 4 star rating. But for its regular price, not the best purchase.

Great Game
Elephant Games & Big Fish team up for another great game. Loved the different HOP,s which were a break from typical. Puzzles were challenging but not too overwhelming. Good story, beautiful settings, what you would expect from the developer (Elephant Games), which always seem to be at the forefront of expanding new developments.

I’m struggling with this one
Normally the Surface series is awesome however this one doesn’t live up to the Surface name. While the storyline appears original, it has several fatal flaws. The dialogue flashes by so quickly you can barely read it and I’m a fast reader! I’ve missed so much because it’s gone by so fast. There is a diary but it doesn’t cover the holes in the story. Hops are short and childishly simple. Options for custom difficulty are few. Verdict: Buy only on sale and if bored

Wonderful, Fun, Engaging Game
Thank you so much BF for this fantastic game. This is the best game you’ve given us in a long time. The storyline is a little different, which is nice. Also, the graphics are superb, the puzzles diversified and the length of the game nice and long. I loved collecting flowers and the different dolls. Please, keep games like this coming!

Disappointing and Disjointed, Ultimately Boring
Two stars because:
1. Overall, the graphics are small. Very difficult to find collectibles - flowers and evil dolls. No symbol on the screen to indicate that there are collectibles to been found. The map only indicates that there are collectibles in a certain location. My favorite to play is to find collectibles.
2. Refresh rate is 15 seconds. I have played games where the refresh rate is 5 - 20 seconds.
3. Convoluted plot. I don’t like fantasy games because the characters are difficult to follow - blue, gold, gray, and others.
I only purchased this game because I don’t have any new games to play. At least there are no snakes!
