So much fun
Velocity, multitouch, keeps up with no lag in deep bass sound. This app is do much fun and with good headphones on, oh man - get the reverb dialed in (although not true reverb, could use some work) it sounds so real I almost feel my iPad screen soften like its leather - not kidding! I wish there were a little more tone variance not only between the different drums, but depending on distance from the center (why can't any drum apps get that down?) and last but not least --- rimshot? Anyway, overall an awesome app along with their Djembe app I'd say the most fun and realistic in this category. Especially when you consider what you get in just the free version!

Bit more zen
I was hoping for a deeper sound. Something that sounded more like Japanese drums. App works well, easy to use and does not crash if you move quickly between drum modes

Great sound and response.
In addition to settings for sensitivity in app,also check your iPad Pro touch sensitivity. May increase if pad was set too low. Would like to have edge stick tap sounds added. Reverb is a nice added touch in the app. Great for creating back tracks to use to add to midi recordings. Thanks

Great Taiko Sound
This sounds great! The only thing I would change is by giving it more dynamics. Touch sensitive, different tones on different locations of drums and a way to change the pitch or tune them. Otherwise. It's solid!

The sound on these things are great: far superior to some of the other percussion apps. I'd recommend this whole line of percussion apps.

Great App, Needs more samples!
Velocity sensitive, multitouch functionality make it a great app. What it needs is better sample layering and also an algorithmic reverb. The reverb gets annoying as it is always there and is the exact same sound for every strike. This is app is still great though!

Not taiko, but a somewhat decent drumming app.
These drums may look like taiko, but they sound nothing like them! In addition, a great feature of the traditional Japanese drum is the rim-hitting, or the ka's, as opposed to the deep resonating don's... People who like the taiko sounds they're familiar with might be disappointed by this app as I was! Maybe update the sounds in a future update?

What a great drum app
The app is cool it sounds real loud though but that is because my volume it's to high but I still think it is a great app you should get it.

Some people are saying they don't sound like bongos or etc. Taiko drums are a type of drum, not a brand. They are Japanese. Just for some people's information. I haven't tried them out myself yet but I will soon.

I would like them more if they had a deeper sound and rim hit abilities.
