Jason Gurtz-Catyla,
May work for very short scrolling?
The app did not work for me at all using the brave browser and generated only very shot, incomplete long screenshot using safari. Also the interface is rough. Double-clicking the home button to switch to the browser is blocked when the countdown starts. You must tap outside the countdown modal and then double-click. Needs work...
lofidelityrockr,
Useless. Totally useless.
This app is not working as described. It is, so far, one of the worst I have tried in the App Store and I have tried many. What makes this one worse than the one I disliked the most prior is that unlike that one, which had no operability for which it was designed unless you actually subscribed but didn’t know what you were getting, is with this app it has a tutorial which isn’t helpful for those who know how to screen record and it doesn’t behave in a consistent manner. I have tried 4 times to do the scrolling screen record and somehow after attempting to record the same item 4 times, I have 4 different recordings. The recordings are so different that this can only be a programming issue and not a user issue. For instance: from beginning the recording each video has a different start point. When the start point is always at the same screen then all the videos should start at the same point each time. Sometimes you only see within the capture app or you might make it to the target app but it stops recording on its own. OR- you make it to the target app and start scrolling and you complete the scrolling and stop the recorder in the upper left corner only to wait for the processing of the capture and the app crashes. You go back in only to find it still only processed an image that was the starting screen prior to scrolling. Also, each recording seems to have a different layout. Besides the start point being so far off the mark the captures seem to either be a static image single screen or a screen that wasn’t even scrolled somehow captured as being a scrolled image capture and larger than the screen of the device. It seems like a great idea, and maybe on earlier devices it is? On my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the latest update on board with GB’s of open space (so, not a low memory issue) this app is a complete fail given that you cannot have an expectation of quality or that you will even see what it is you are trying to capture. Literally, there is no difference between this app and squeezing volume up and the lock button at the same time except that with the latter you know what the capture will be afterwards. Can I just record my own scrolling capture with the built in screen recorder and input it to the app to process?? Maybe that would be easier to accomplish.
