TLDR: the game requires a lot of hours of play and money to get good
It is a good game, but there are some issues.
For instance the special event characters require you to play a certain event 1000 times. And while you’re fighting the battle system really seems like it doesn’t adjust correctly to character level. So you’re trying to beat this god mode character in under 3 minutes and often fail/waste gems reviving yourself.
Leveling up your own level is far more difficult than enhancing character strength as well. Character enhancements can basically bought or are awarded to you. Your personal leveling up depends mainly on battles, however you can’t go through certain parts of the battles/complete worlds unless you’re high level, not just your characters.
It’s expensive compared to other games to buy essential items like gems, and if you want a chance at a new character that isn’t weak, or literally the same character you already have for 5 draws in a row, you’ll have to have a lot of gems.

One major bug but side from that an awesome game
Only major con: Whenever I use Aisha’s spirit attack in battle the game crashes completely and force closes forfeiting the battle while consuming whatever was used to start it. Messaged devs through email and still no response, not even an inquiry or status update on it. Hoping this review gets their attention.

Thoroughly impressed, but hopeful
I have been a very big fan of this game since a friend introduced me to it a few months back. I enjoy the immersive storyline and battle style, and have made great use of the auto function while grinding for items in the trail section of the game. Tales of Erin has a lot to offer and can certainly become rather addictive, but there are a few things I’m hopeful to see in future updates. One such change I would like to see is the ability to have a sixth party, so the player could not only have a party full of each element, but one with a mixture to their liking. There is also a glitch on the 26th floor of the darktide ruins where the girl out front continuously spams the enemy without the player touching the screen.

Tales of Erin contributes little new to the mobage genre, but it does a good job of taking features from other mobage games and putting the best parts into one complete package.
If there’s one thing that makes Tales of Erin stand out from similar games, it’s the artwork. The artwork is very pleasing and colorful, and the battle sprites are animated wonderfully! Even if the gameplay itself is fairly standard RPG, I find myself drawn into watching the battles unfold. Still shots, like those used in visual novels, are also used to great effect when telling the story.
Regrettably, however, the actual story is very bland and cookie-cutter. Generic male swordsman protagonist meets generic girl amnesiac with Deus Ex Machina superpowers, and they team up to fight against a generic evil empire. Having played other mobile games, like Fate Grand Order, the story feels wholly underwhelming.
Though I’m currently rating Tales of Erin at 3/5, it does have the potential to improve to 4/5, despite the flawed story. Audio quality, for example, seems off, and I believe it could be patched down the road. Mind you, the actual voice acting is fantastic; the audio merely sounds a bit more staticky than I feel it should be.
Overall, Tales of Erin is an enjoyable play, even if it may not have enough originality to hold players for the long haul.

It’s Satire.
Rant: I saw “bland story” mentioned a few times in reviews. People are stupid, and chances are, I should be ashamed of my country, and anyone reading this probably knows who I am talking about... It’s satire poking at every mmo/rpg trope out there. Apparently they did too good of a job, because dumb people... So many dumb people. Seriously. Her clothes changed, and that’s enough proof for the party that a char can save the world, to paraphrase an exceptionally bland male swordsman lead character who has nothing special about him.
TLDR: It’s pretty and actually pretty generous in terms of gems to buy fancy stuff in shops. It doesn’t take all day to be playing to get everything you can get in a day, but you prob could if you wanted to. The story is good satire.

Fun game!
Well of course there will be a lot of 5* ratings due to bribery, but this game is fairly well designed. It doesn’t have the difficulty so jacked up that you hit a wall without spending money, but it’s not as easy as many others where you can instantly clear hard modes with just your basic free pulls.
One major pro is the depth of content put into the game to make it more than a 30 minute once a day game, but it doesn’t force you to play 24 hours a day either.
My only complaint is the less than stellar 3D graphics in comparison to other games of the genre like King’s Raid.

Not a bad game
When it comes to Fates of Erin, a lot has already been said in the other reviews and it has the potential to be 5 star rating for me. However, the account system was confusing for me because I first made an account on Facebook and I saw in the events that there was an event going on so I clicked on it and it took me to the Efun website. In order to participate in the lucky Christmas themed drawing, I had to login. So I tried to connect my Facebook account to the drawing and I couldn’t find a way. I also don’t want to restart the game from the tutorial on an Efun account. Idk if anyone can help clarify on this issue, but I’ll gladly accept any help offered.

Hello, game developers and operators. This game is a good game, it can be kryptonite to speed up the progress, or not kryptonite slowly play. But as for the iOS client, can you fix a bug as soon as possible? This bug is that after the magic grid is filled, click to use, the client will flash back, no matter how you try, the result is the same. This bug affects the game experience of ios accounts. I hope operators and developers can see this comment. After all, I love this game (kryptonite is a lot), I hope to fix it as soon as possible to improve the experience of ios users

Pretty Darn Good
I think the story may be it’s strongest feature, the combat and progression system a close second. The subtitles are a little off in some places, translation and misspelled words, but it’s coherent and easy to follow. Honestly, it’s just nice to have a fully voiced story with a talented cast of VA’s. You gain the gems you need for summoning as you progress through the story and complete task and achievements, so you can experience the joys of gacha without spending a load of money IRL. Overall I think it’s a pretty solid game and have been enjoying it so far

It’s your regular do your daily quests and progress in the story until it forces you to upgrade all your gear and characters. It does take a while in the beginning to get good characters, but after a week it gets easier. You can spend a lot of time doing things from spending energy in a guild tower battle, main storyline, and materials. Joining multiplayer battles for gear doesn’t cost energy and can be done as much as possible, making it possible to keep playing even after your energy is used up. There’s a lot of things to do every time.
