Scarlet Lemonade,
Overcoming fear, one monster at a time!
Amazing! Simple yet profound. I love this book. Are you tired of fear holding you back from enjoying your life? Is it refraining you from reaching your potential? Is fear interfering with your child's development? Well, buy this book. It's an amazing tool that can liberate you from the constraints of fear. If not for yourself, then for your child, your niece, or nephew. Not to mention your students if you're a teacher or work with children. A happier life is the greatest gift. I know I will certainly by buying many more copies for my friends and family.

Fear is paralyzing regardless of our age. However, the key to facing our fears is within our reach. Yes, it lies just beyond the shadows of fear and stigma. Just behind a line that many don't dare to cross. Thank you, Mistofer Christopher, for shining a spotlight on it. You are empowering us all, from the youngest child, to the eldest adult.

In love with this book/app/song
I cannot sing the praises of “Talk About the Monster” enough. First, the theme of this book is phenomenal. It has led to a serious discussion with my 4-year-old son about expressing our fears, especially to an adult. This life lesson extends beyond simply monsters under the bed.

The interactive elements and “Read to Me” feature of this app are incredibly helpful in keeping my young one’s attention. He’s engaged and excited about every page.

The last page of the book links out to other “Talk About the Monster” content, including a catchy song that has been on replay in my house. My son also has expanded his vocabulary, asking me to define words so he can better understand the book.

As a licensed elementary school teacher, I wouldn’t hesitate to have this book in my classroom. And this app conveniently goes everywhere my son goes.
Smoochestravels,
We all have monsters
I got this book for my nephew, but ended up ordering one for myself. I love that it reads like a song. We all have monsters(fears) and this book is a good way to overcome them by talking about it regardless of age. The app is a great way to help kids read words they don’t know by pressing on the word, or having it read to them as they follow along.

Great Book!
After having read this with my own children, I noticed how the message behind the story really resonated with them…we all have fears of one kind or another. Talking about them let’s us see that maybe they aren’t as scary or bad as they may seem, and also allows others to help us to deal with them.

Amazing Learning Tool
I bought this book for my niece and nephew and love it! The app is wonderful to help kids improve their reading in a fun and Interactive way. I like that they can click on words they do not know and have it read aloud. I think it prevents them from getting frustrated and makes reading enjoyable. Amazing app!

Review of “Talk About the Monster “
How timely! And how reassuring as well as comforting it is for our “little people “ to be made aware that their fears/monsters can be spoken about, minimized and/or removed. This app and its accompanying book are must-haves for families with children. They are ideal for helping children feel free to reveal their monsters and ‘cut them down to size’.
Mamaschizz,
Options
I love that there are options available when reading the book. One option is to have the book read to your young one(s), and the option allows the child(ren) to read it themselves with “tap on the word” options to assist you. Great job!
PumpkinsTia,
Cool & interactive!
This is such a cool app!! I love the option to have it read to you, or for you to read it yourself. And also how it lets you click on the words to hear how they’re pronounced. It’s so interactive and engaging ... I can see kids wanting to read this one over & over again. :)
Sxydyme26,
Interactive and fun!
This app is so much fun! I teach kindergarten and the kids will love pressing the interactive features while I read or while listening to the reading. The song is also fun and will get the kids engaged. I plan to use this app during my lesson on monsters and body parts.

Tool for parents
Life is full of uncertainty. Fear can paralyze all of us, old or young. Talking with a confidant can take the power away from our fear monsters. Chris’ insightful story is charming, silly and cleverly illustrated. The app is interactive and good for young minds in this world’s positive entertainment vacuum. We all need to talk about our monsters.
