Conservative Talk at your fingertips
I have been using Talk Stream Live for several months now. I started tuning in due to a good word from Brian Sussman, KSFO’s morning man. I enjoy being able to tune in to hear shows I may have missed due to its unavailability on other stations. The only problem I have with Talk Stream is that it often breaks into the thought of a host and places a commercial there. That commercial may even play 3-4 times in a row. I was following a great story last night and as soon as the host was about to give us the punchline the app preceded to cut off and go to commercial. There are other times when commercials will stop and start continuously. Otherwise the app gets 5 stars from me!

Good App that is Ads-Funded & Free
Talk Stream has been a very useful app with very good access to talk radio personalities in most major markets which enables listening to personalities during their live broadcast and outside of their live broadcasts. If you live in a market where a radio station does not carry your desired radio personality live, you can find a market in which it is broadcast live so that you can call in and be on topic. It is a great way of listening to many personalities outside of their normal broadcast times when it is tape-delayed in other markets that talk stream carries the broadcast of.
A problem: recently after an app crash, now both Ben Shapiro and Michael Medved crash the app every time I select those personalities. This is very frustrating because I can no longer access their broadcasts from Talk Stream. Even after deleting the app from my device and reinstalling it, those personalities still crash the app when launched.
If this is related to some database error in the programming then Talk Stream could enable some form of reset in the settings for the app that would restore functionality of these broadcasts being selected successfully. As conservatives, we are always suspicious, unfortunately, that some disgruntled coder has decided to break access to certain content. I hope this is not the case.

Great App But For Some Ads
Great app but for some ads, and I’m saying this so the designers will fix this. I get that some stations have an initial ad. (And if possible I just switch to another town to avoid the ad.) The problem happens when you already heard the ad but the app plays it again when you switch from your car to the phone or vice versa or get a phone call then come back from the call and have to listen to another ad again. Extremely annoying and you’re missing whatever you were hearing. Fix this. Then you’ll get five stars.
It just happened again. It walked into my house so I automatically switch from 4G to WiFi and the annoying ad started annoying me again, again right in the middle of my radio show. Do something! (If needed, I was listening to Aaron Klein Show.)

Thus, removing another star, now down to three. I’ll say this: it appears the Twitter app may be exacerbating the problem. My use of that app triggers many more ads. Unfair & Unbalanced!
Aw Cmon Now: 90%, At Least of your stations are so far to the right, you guys remind me of drivers who fear making a left turn, and only get to where you want or need by only making right turns! Are you so afraid of Liberal Talk Radio that you pretend to be balanced by giving us only the true middle of the road, NPR? What about Thom Hartman? Or other left leaning hosts even more erudite & electrifying? I triple dare you to play liberals who are as entertaining as The RushBurger, or as zany as Alex the Ranting Man Jones! Bet you don’t have the guts! Ha! Look, Don’t get me wrong, I truly am a real Independent, I even founded a Public Charter School. Enough of of Fox or MS NBC! Give us Both Sides EQUALLY!!! Update (Aug/18): I now give you guys a 60%, That is 3 Stars instead of 2, because you are finally adding at least some more great progressive voices! Imagine all, when all of us listen truly “Fair and Balanced.”

Fantastic! I used this app daily.
This app is tremendous. It has all my favorite talkshow hosts plus many more that I want to explore. If you like any of them listed, this is a great app that you will use all the time. There is no down-side. There is a very small banner strip at the bottom, but the app is great because you can put your iPod in sleep mode and still hear the audio. This is like having the best radio in the world. Especially if you like talk radio, I urge you to give talk stream live a try.

Terrible
This is probably the worst app that i have ever used for streaming in my entire life. i have installed this app multiple times in multiple phones. no matter what the result is the same. it is constantly disconnecting the stream that I am listening to. A lot of times for no reason at all, and if it pauses because of a phone call or some other type of interruption, then it becomes nearly impossible to reconnect the stream. it will say the stream is “connected” but there is no audio. i have to completely power my phone off and on to fix the issue. and sometimes even that doesn't help. the stream that i was listening to disconnected for no reason at all literally as i was typing this review. cannot describe how terrible and frustrating this app is. look for an alternative and avoid this app if you can. its so bad.

Needs A Search Option
If you’re looking for an aggregate of conservative podcasts, this app does it well. There’s also some liberal podcasts I already listen to on here. And surprisingly there’s even some further left leaning stuff included for when you need a good laugh. I give the app kudos for mixing in a little bit of everything with the conservative heavy focus.
Only thing I would like to see added to the app is a search function or some sort of history/bookmark system. Some podcasts I like to listen to are a little but buried in the Podcast list making relocating the podcasts difficult or impossible.

Front Loads Commercials saturating BIDEN
Great APP don’t get me wrong. BUT when you tap into some of the Radio Hosts - even if the program is in process, before your tuned in, your treat is a commercial. Fine. BUT it can get WORSE: if you don’t have a strong enough internet connection like LTE etc etc on iPhone for example - be prepared for the commercial to replay over and over and Y E S over as your internet connection slacks, weakens and spins back up to full strength. It can be maddening esp., in the middle (interruption) of a radio hosts speak or interviewing guests.
I can’t complain about the commercials - business is business. BUT when your sanity is at risk LOL

My drive time therapy!
The ultimate conservative live radio tuner! The easiest best way to listen to all the best live in the moment when you need it. Would give it five stars but the lack of CarPlay support is a big downer. Please add CarPlay support and it shows blank on iPhone and watch- doesn’t show what is playing unless you open the app on the phone. Everywhere else- it doesn’t show any title or artwork. Please add mp3 tagging a native watch and Apple TV app would be nice as well

Completely unusable in the morning
Are they trying to fulfill a commercial quota in the morning?
I remember years ago when I paid for something that seemed to be described as“Ad/Commercial free”. Now it is retroactively called “No Banner Ads” and so now I’m bombarded with audio commercial overlaid upon the primary content.
My subjunctive experience ... EVERY MORNING too frequent content interruptions and sometimes non-stop looping of commercials. If not commercials, the app at random wants to frequently drop out especially when the screen/energy saver goes in effect.
I got Talk Right... same developer, same app behavior. Still Here by default because it is not subscription price, but is the price I have to pay not being able to hear the morning show without const interruptions and frequent waking up phone/screen?
Also still here because the app behaves better in mid-day in general but will , on some random couple of days in the week the app will act like it does EVERY MORNING in the middle of day.
