Tanach for all includes the Torah, Nevi'im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings).
There is no need for an internet connection since all the Hebrew text comes with the application (English (JPS) and Onkelos translations can be downloaded from within the application without any charge).
You can easily navigate to any chapter or even Parasha (for Torah only) within seconds!
Do you prefer to read the bible with punctuation (nikud) or with cantillation (teamim)?
Whatever you prefer - this is up to you to decide with just a switch of a button.
And now you can even see both English and Hebrew or Onkelus and Hebrew in parallel or line by line, allowing you to learn better.
Would you like to see how many times your name appears in the bible?
Would you like to find where in the bible a place was mentioned?
With the built-in search engine you'll find anything on the bible within less than 2 seconds!
Whenever you'll close the application the last watched chapter will be saved for next time, but you can also select a verse to be the opening position for next time.
If you want to remember a verse or a chapter, you can easily set a bookmark to that place by just clicking on a verse.
In the same manner, you can easily add notes or see commentaries (Hebrew only) to any selected verse.
And it all comes packed in a very nice and intuitive design!

Great app
This takes the place of carrying a Tanach with you. I love the search capabilities. This is much easier to use than similar apps I have seen. My one negative comment: several trope marks are missing, so you can't use it to practice for synagogue reading.

Very useful, but needs bug fixes
This is a very useful app, but there are a couple of annoying issues. The "Jump to last position" setting has no effect. It always goes to the beginning of the parsha. The bookmark function crashes the app 90% of the time (after setting the bookmark). These bugs have occurred since I started using the app many years ago (I started using the app since iPad 1 came out), and on 4 devices.

Excellent app for Hebrew Bible study
Great for reviewing Holy Writ on the go. Intuitive interface and clear, easily-read font makes it a pleasure to use. Only complaint is that occasionally a ta'am (cantillation or "trope" mark used for punctuation) is omitted; this should be fixed.

One request though - I'd really love to see the transliteration available too (particularly if it could be displayed right below the Hebrew in the English / Hebrew side be side display), since I'm trying to learn Hebrew, and what better place to improve my skills than the Torah? :-). That, or even the ability to post slightly more visible / longer notes where I could paste the transliteration myself - the notes setup is a bit weak for that right now.

Full disclosure: this is no professional review. BUT... Over all this app has a smooth user interface, polite support, and features that are beyond the necessary for daily use. Side by side view of English and Hebrew allows for convenient comparison within a single app- something hard to get in general, and usually hard to get adjusted to your own eyes! This is not too shabby.
The true quantum leap in this app would be to make at least certain standard
portions available transliterated- That is a feature that could be useful and even generate some extra revenue. Ideally, of course, all transliterations being available.

Greatest Tanach app in AppStore, and one of the best written apps in the AppStore. It just gets better with each update!
English translation, Rashi, and Unkelos for the entire Tanach. For Torah you also get Ramban and for Nach you get Metzudos. (internet connection needed for the commentaries). Powerful search feature. Nekudos and trup.
Choice of font size and background. Easy to navigate. Bookmark feature and notes feature. elegant UI. Easy to use, lots of features and customization. A1+! Well worth it's price.

Great app on both iPod and iPad
Terrific fonts, both Hebrew and English. Can be used without internet. Ability to use by chapter or parasha. Search in English or Hebrew. (I use the iPad's native keyboard.) A couple of possible improvements: (1) Ability to highlight text or otherwise mark text for which notes have been made; (2) click-through access to BDB, at least through Wi-Fi. Overall, a great value.
