Tandem - Connect with Experts Hack 1.5.9 + Redeem Codes

Bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Bug Fix:

This build fixes an issue related to an Expert's share link and QR Code.

Bug Fix:

This build addresses a bug where users were not taken to the correct page when tapping on a link.

New Features:

- Users can now download videos and photos from Tandem.

New Features:

- New Invite Tools For Experts: We’ve added tools to make it easier for an Expert to grow their business and add students by giving Experts a link to share and a QR Code to have students sign up.
- Expose New Comments In The Feed: We’ve made it easier to identify when there is a new comment on a post. The new comment will be exposed in the feed and the post will be brought to the top of the feed.
- Improved Deep-linking: When a user clicks on a push notification or a response needed tile it now takes the user directly to that comment instead of always taking the user to the top of the post.
- Post View Improvements: The usability of the app has been improved in the post view so that when media was not uploaded there is no longer a black empty space.
- Across Device Syncing: We’ve now made it so that no matter what device you are on the Response Needed tiles will stay synced up.

Bugs:

- Fixed the bug where a user had to double click the Response Needed tile when they were in the Feed.
- Improved the readability of the app for users who have smaller phones and a larger font size default.
- Addressed a bug where users couldn't view photos or videos that were shared as comments or replies.

We’ve addressed some user feedback and added new features in this release:

NEW FEATURES:

- Notifications now only preview the first two lines of a post instead of showing the full post.
- When drawing and annotating a video you can now pause it to make it easier to draw exactly where you want.
- You can now zoom in on a photo or video.
- When sending URLs in comments or replies the URLs are now clickable and take the user to that website.
- You no longer need to turn off silent mode to hear the audio of a video. The audio will play even if you are in silent mode.

BUGS

- The screen scrolls up when the keyboard is covering text.
- Links are now considered required media.

Things to look for in the newest Tandem build:

FEATURES:
- Users can now include links when sending a post.
- Adding a photo or video is no longer required to send a new post.
- The coach onboarding document is now included on the waitlist screen.

BUGS
- Improved upload post-experience so that the app will try to resend the post the next time they are in the app if the user killed the app the previous session.

More improvements on the way:

FEATURES:
- If a post fails to upload we’ll notify you with a push notification.
- Add a “Marked as Resolved” button on the Post View to make it easier to mark posts Up to Date.
- Updated the invited student's pre-populated copy to make it easier for a user to understand.

BUGS
- When you sent a new post it would show up in all of your student-teacher feeds until the post was fully uploaded. Now it only shows up in the feed of the user you are sending it to.
- Cleaned up some overlapping text for larger fonts.

We have our first app update. Here are the changes you can expect to see:

- The app icon will be badged with the number of tasks you have outstanding.
- After a user posts a new comment the user will be taken to their new post in the comment section.
- Every time the user brings the app to the foreground it will refresh the data to make sure they are seeing the most up-to-date information.
- We added a +1 Animation when a coach invites a new student to show where these students will be added to their app.
- The Choose Post Type is now a full-screen experience to make room for all the post-type options.
