Using original iPad with 5.1.1 version. No sound is playing for the app when side slide is set to lock rotation. Please fix!! If set to mute in settings then app will play sound.

My granddaughters come back to this app again and again. I like the simple graphics and the perfect amount of activities. So many apps for young children are a waste of money but not this one.
I continue to use TAP TAP BABY with my young grandsons. It is one of the best apps for young children. The ten-month old can navigate his way around it and laughs aloud.
I wonder why the designers did not continue to create more apps?

This is a good app but would be great if the buttons to switch between games were a little less accessible. I got this app for my 8 Mo old and he loves it but quickly gets frustrated when he switches between games in the middle of trying to enjoy a game. My 2 yr old sometimes has this problem but not as often. Simply moving the buttons to the top of the screen would make it enjoyable for younger users, too. They love the different games but get upset when they loose them from accidentally touching the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

I'm an SLP who works with kids with severe delays. I've been using several apps with on the iPad to establish cause and effect and more functional leisure skills with some kiddos who are 5 years old but functioning at a much much younger level. Tap Tap Baby is their favorite, and one of the only ones they respond to intentionally. The monkey face especially is very helpful - one of my students will use it for extended periods of time, and will point with a single finger at the monkey's mouth to see the next expression. May not sound like much, but it was a long road to teach this child to point with a single finger and he rarely does it without a lot of prompting. Thanks so much for this app!

My 8 month old loves this application. It's well designed for young children. My wife and her friends were skeptical when I told them about it. The first time my baby saw it, she was not interested. The second time she saw it, two days later, she was squawking loudly, and slapping the ipad as hard as she could. Each time the screen reacted, she got more and more excited.

She's not dexterous enough to tap on one item, but I can see her eyes dart around as new object appear.

Wish there were more applications out there like this.

I must say that this app is pure genious. We got an iPad shortly before our cross country trip to visit family and stumbled across this app. It kept our two year old entertained for hours on the car ride! She was very intrigued by the graphics and responses to her taps - the monkeys elicited many a smile! If you're looking for a fun app to enjoy with your little one this is it. Two thumbs up!

My daughter loves this app. She started playing with it when she was 6 months, with 15 months she is still entertained by it. Much of what she does is random, but you can tell she plays with it more purposely now than before. I look forward to seeing how she grows further with it.

We bought this app awhile back and my son loves it! Lots of different things to do to keep your baby entertained. The monkey face really gets him excited. We love the fireworks also. Very cool.

There are very few apps for kids under 18 months old. This is one of them. Simple cause/effect. Loud, shocking noises. Shapes, facial expressions, making music. Plus, there are occasional updates.
