Appreciating what it is so far
As a former tap tap revenge and spin off series lover from the old days and have migrated to Beatstar I can appreciate what these developers are trying to accomplish with tap tap hero. The fact that you can play any song just by watching an ad and not have it be behind gems or a paywall is amazing! Compared to Beatstar. I really hope this app goes far into resurrecting tap tap revenge and putting more songs in their library. Great start and can’t wait to see where this goes! ♥️

Good Gameplay, Too few Songs
I feel the gameplay is good. It reminds me of tap tap revenge, which is what I think the developers were striving for. However there are only 3 songs and the buttons you press seem unrelated to the actual song being played. Overall, good base structure, but needs more songs and correlation with the songs.

Not a good version of what used to be ‘Tap Tap’
This is not a good version of what used to be ‘Tap Tap’. The tapping cues really aren’t synced up to the music from what I can tell, so it’s not worth even having the audio on since it’s not following the rhythm & beats of the music. Only 3 songs preprogrammed in, but it says you can play with your own music! I tried this, but it would only access my podcasts & not my music library. So I guess I could play to an hour of podcast discussions... No thanks.

Great concept but needs work.
It found 300 songs on my phone, but I have 900. The notes all appear to speed up slightly as the approach the tap marker which makes the game unreasonably difficult. The tap marker seems to register slightly higher than it appears, and the notes seem to come somewhat early. The game isn’t really playable as is, but it could be improved, as the base is good.

Off tempo
The beats are completely off tempo and it feels like they have nothing to do with the song. Whether it’s one of the three given songs by the app or my downloaded music… it doesn’t feel like I’m really playing properly or being scored fairly because the beats just don’t follow any of the music.

I use to love the Tap Tap games when I very first got my iPhone back in 2008. I used to be a beast at this. Fun times. Im getting old. Lol! Happy memories!

Does not work at all
Does not load songs, ads pop-up in the middle of playthroughs, difficulty does not actually change the number of notes, it justs speeds up the processing of the UI (which as you can imagine in a rhythm game, makes absolutely no sense), so now notes go by 3x faster completely off-sync.

Great concept terrible execution
Besides that fact that the game can’t find all my music it’s built terribly
The notes speed up as they come to your tap marker making it virtual impossible to tap constantly and most notes are unresponsive
