LaurenJavan,
Just what we needed
This app hits on everything I needed. Using the website from the phone was difficult, and this app just made everything so easy.

The only issue I had was in selecting a profile picture through the app, where it only allows you to choose from about 20 of your most recent images (none of which happen to be of me). It does allow you to take a photo right then if you are feeling selfie-ready.

Great app!
Takomsa,
Must be a member
As a vet who falls into several veteran related categories requiring additional assistance, I downloaded this app to see what it was all about. Maybe even eventually get involved if I see something that I’m interested in or that can support me. However, upon opening the app I find that one must sign up to simply use the app. A user name and password are required just to access the app. I don’t know these people so I don’t yet trust them. I’m not signing up for an app I’ll likely never use. This is obviously not an open organization supporting all vets.

The American Legion and VFW are transparent. I saw what they were about and joined. If I must sign up to see what something is about, that’s not transparent. To echo a certain senator, ‘you have to pass it to see what’s in it’. That doesn’t make sense. I’m not willing to sign up just to determine if it’s something I want to be involved with. Your app is not transparent.

I will delete the app after submitting my review.
CMARA78,
Dallas, TX RWB events
I believe this to be a great opportunity to get Military Service Members connected. This would be great to network, identifying with service members that have the same interest and may have certain issues that they may have someone locally they can confide in. Keep up the good work but the program will only be as good as the participants involved.
Where R the Rewards,
Multiple branches
Like many I serve with in the guard I’m prior active duty and I’ve been on multiple combat deployments. It doesn’t feel good to have to choose one branch and one deployment. I’ve earned my title and my rank in both branches. Should adjust to allow this. Also you can’t preview the app without signing up. There should be a visitor only to look around to see if it’s something you really want to put your PII in. As a policy I generally will not sign in to an app like that, but there is a level of trust with the RWB that allowed me to make an exception.
Vassago78,
Lots of bugs
I always get multiple errors with this app including “retrieving your feed”, “no local chapter selected” (and it is), virtual events will turn my entire screen white (have to force close every time I try to view it), and I it seems like the developers try to fix the app in a live environment so other things are randomly breaking. The only response to fix the problem is to try and uninstall and reinstall the app which does nothing. It is very frustrating as a member who wants to participate in events and I cannot do so because I cannot find them when I want.
Alaskanbabe77,
Vers. 1.25.4 functionality
Pros: The app is user-friendly and includes future meet-up and volunteer events, and dates to view the upcoming dates.

Cons:
1) I’m in Alaska standard time zone, and I can’t log in evening time due to the 8:00 pm cut off. Currently, the app is on eastern time zone.
I have to exit the app and utilize an internet browser and log in the old fashion way and re-enter my information to check-in.

My request: I would kindly request to include a time zone functionality or a way to enter your check ins like the browser.

2) Lastly, request the shared function for a user to opt-in to calendar Team RWB events to personal calendar on smart phone app. This change will create a reminder for an Eagle to remember to attend an event.

Thank you for reading my requests for improvement.
Book a Holick,
Getting my life back
After retirement depression set in. Wondering if I would find friends or work that was as challenging as the military. I tried several military groups to get the friendship, the drive to be better then I was the day before. With RWB I have found that in this group.
Gr4ngie,
Awesome!
I love that members can now create events in addition to the local leaders. I live in the far north of my club metro and all the leaders live on the far south/East sides so the events aren’t very convenient for me. I’m excited to hopefully find some other Eagles in my area that I can start hanging out with through events in the area.
Rob_808,
Great app! Much better than the mobile website
Been using the app for a bit as a tester and I really like the experience in using it. Very easy to see what is going on, not just with your chapter but all around as well. Just released functionality let’s you see who else will be attending an event! Great so far and can’t wait to see it further develop.
G Biehl,
Worth the wait!
The app is clean, simple, and does everything I need it to do. I love being able to see what events are happening nearby, especially when I’m traveling. Getting a chance to see who else is interested in attending the events is such a bonus!
