2.0 Themes
TECHMANIA now supports themes, allowing you to customize almost the entirety of TECHMANIA's UI.
• Most of the existing UI is migrated to the "default theme".
◦ The editor is not migrated at this moment, and will remain outside of themes for the foreseeable future.
• Added an option to change theme.
◦ A theme is a single ".tmtheme" file. Once you place a theme in the "Themes", it will show up in the theme list.
◦ Please note that each theme is specific to a platform, and specific to certain TECHMANIA versions. Please double check whether a theme is compatible with your platform and TECHMANIA version before downloading. The theme developer should provide these information when releasing their theme.
◦ Please also note that themes contain executable scripts, which may contain malicious code. We have made our best effort at locking down themes' access to the user's device and data, but we cannot make guarantees. Please exercise caution when choosing, downloading and using themes, the same way you would with downloading software from the internet.
• When TECHMANIA launches, it will now display a boot screen, where it loads skins, the track list, and the current theme. TECHMANIA will display the theme only after these resources are loaded.
◦ If using a non-default theme, on the boot screen you will have a chance to revert to the default theme. This is so that you can continue to change themes even if your chosen theme does not provide that option.

1.1: Community Contributions
This release officializes some community contributed features during the development of 2.0.
• Highlights
◦ (Credits to Kento) Many editor features that were previously only available on PC (due to the use of keyboard shortcuts, middle mouse button or right mouse button), such as cut-copy-paste and deleting, are now available to mobile users as additional tools and buttons in the toolbar. Refer to the "Help" section in editor options for an explanation on the new tools.
• Other changes
◦ (Credits to Noisysundae) Improved gameplay performance by decreasing GetComponent calls. The game should now lag less on clicks and touches.
◦ Added Noisysundae to the developer list.
◦ The select skin panel now sorts skin names alphabetically.
• Known issues
◦ When the mouse cursor moves over a drag note's anchor receiver or the end of any hold note, it will become much larger than the system cursor size.
◦ When playing in Japanese, the ruleset display at the result screen takes 2 lines instead of 1.
1.0.2
2022-02-10
Credits to Noisysundae for the following items marked ◆.
• Keysounds
◆ Fixed an issue where some hidden notes' keysounds are played using the keysound volume, instead of the music volume.
◆ Fixed an issue where some keysounds may play twice when jumping between scans in the practice mode.
◆ When using the "Auto keysound" modifier, keysounds now play using the keysound volume, instead of the music volume.
◆ When a touch/keystroke/click doesn't hit any note, and the upcoming note is a long note, the game no longer plays its keysound.
• Editor
◆ It is now possible to organize resource files (excluding track.tech) in a track into subfolders. There is no UI for this feature, but files inside subfolders will show and load correctly.
◦ The editor now displays a minimal of 16 scans, instead of 2.
◦ Updated pattern rules to require each chain node to be in an adjacent lane to the chain head or chain node before it, instead of just a different lane.
• UI & gameplay
◦ On iOS, the information screen now displays instructions on Guided Access.
◦ In the pattern radar, the "Voltage" dimension is renamed to "Peak" to be more thematically consistent with the other dimensions.
◦ Added an option to pause when the game window loses focus. This is on by default.
◆ Improved performance when the game receives a lot of touches, by ignoring invisible notes.
• Records
◦ All Combo and Perfect Play are now saved separately from score.
◦ Pattern fingerprints now ignore certain non-essential elements, such as eyecatch and preview filenames. This means changing these on a pattern no longer invalidates all records on it.
