We've removed subscriptions from the app and made it simple. You pay a little more if you want more backgrounds or foregrounds.

It’s a good start
The app is pretty good. Some improvements I’d like to see...my iPhone, which I use it on, doesn’t recognize activity when we are recording video. So if we aren’t careful, the screen will go dark from inactivity in the middle of using the app. Also, the background window is difficult to use in landscape orientation. That may be from the limited screen space on my phone... not sure. Half the time I start the app, the background videos are blank, and won’t load up. I have to restart the program to see them. I also heard of some sort of dinosaur expansion pack, but so far all I’ve seen is the single running Dino background. Are the others still coming in the future?
My daughter is loving this setup so far. Overall, great job. Eagerly waiting for the gloves!

Fun learning curve!
We got this for our kids for Christmas, and while it hasn’t been quite as magical as I’d hoped, it’s still pretty awesome. And the customer service is incredible. At first, my email that I purchased the set with wasn’t recognized, so we couldn’t get any of the backgrounds without purchasing them. I emailed Nickolay ON CHRISTMAS DAY and he resolved the issue and wrote back THAT DAY!!! I feel bad that he was working so hard on a holiday, but that’s really impressive.
The other reason this has been less magical is our problem, not the app’s. Our iPad is too outdated so it doesn’t support any of the backgrounds, so we can only use it with my phone, which is just a small screen so it isn’t quite as captivating when using it live. And I do a lot of work on my phone so the kids haven’t been able to use it as much. But the videos we can make ARE reeeeeeally fun. So it’s definitely worth it!

Well, my mother got this game for me to create videos and stuff she got it for me for Christmas and it does not work like we tryed and tryed but the back ground was not showing up and when we did one when the back ground was working we see how we done, then, the back ground was NOT ON IT. Like who what how!?!?!?! There’s no way my mom or me can fix it I’m so mad and we could use the money back! Im just not happy and can’t use my toys to make videos it’s not fun do not waste money. And like I didn’t know about what she was doing when I opened the box with the green screen, she went to my IPad to download it then I try it it works fine then I can’t get that thing that goes “ALL A BORED let’s join Washington in a boat” and it would glitch and black out like what the heck. OK, I came back on the game and it was not letting me do the back ground so it’s not fun, signing off.

Daughter is going to loveTeleplay Green Screen!
I’ve seen the ads, thought it looked cute, but never did anything. Then I started thinking about Christmas gifts for my 10-yr-old, and I dug a little deeper. Teleplay seemed too good to be true, but I took the chance and bought the green screen set that comes with all the digital resources, wooden props for the green blanket, and 2 pairs of green gloves. Well, it came within a week! I immediately opened the box and was so pleased with the quality of everything! I can’t WAIT to give this to my daughter for Christmas - it’s more an experience and learning fun than a toy! She’s going to flip over the different backgrounds, ways to play, and creativity of it! Thank you so much, Teleplay!!!

Could use some improvements…
Okay, what’s the four star for? First, when you have the camera on selfie mode, it’s impossible to start recording without your hand being seen. Second, when it’s on normal camera mode, you have no idea what’s being videoed on the camera. So basically, you have to have one gloved hand and one un-gloved hand to press the record button. Third, there aren’t a lot of sound effects, and they’re not easy to set up. Fourth, if you hold one thumb in front of the object you’re filming with, it just blends in with the background and not the object. Other than that, cool app, just needs improvement.

Bought it to photo shoot artwork
I bought the app and green screen to shoot my artwork. For a variety of reasons, I didn’t use it for quite awhile after purchase. When I did, experienced a number of issues…admittedly all user error. Thankfully I joined the Facebook group, and used available online discussions and demos to address my issues. These are great resources. I do find it annoying that I need to recalibrate with each use, but it is a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

My twins are enjoying it
My girls, age 9, are really enjoying it. They have made several videos so far. Did. It initially receive the fleece blanket (received a polyester one) that was advertised because of high demand, however, the owner was very easy to communicate with and has mailed them out. We also had some questions regarding using the App and he was again, very easy to connect with and very helpful. Would recommend this product.

Misleading Advertising
There are two options on the developer’s website. If one orders the small toy screen expect the green screw materials with no frames. The founder will send them with your address if emailed personally -and additional charges. Unlocked features are not even addressed by the founder when contacted. So this means you download his app but once contacting him after purchasing his product he only pursues more money for screens. Great buy if enjoy paying for lies. If any thinks this product delivers what is states it doesn’t. Simple and the price is advertised as going up somehow for nothing delivered but chromatic screen gloves and two block cubes. 🥡Buyer beware💯♻️🧠⚠️

Working great!
Originally we had a lot of crashing issues, but those seem to have been fixed and now the app is working great! There’s a little issue where calibrating still doesn’t work 100% and sometimes shiny surfaces end up being confused for the green surface, but that can kinda be fixed with lighting. Also, the Caribbean Jetty video background still crashes the app.

Super fun!
This is such a fun toy! It took a bit to get used to the app and figure out how to work everything, but I think that is because there are so many options for backgrounds and foregrounds. All of my kids are enjoying making movies from 4 years old to 16. It was easy to set up and now that we know the app, it’s easy to make movies.
