THANK YOU for fixing the app!!
I just looked again today and Yay! They put the prev, slightly older version back up here..and now we have a great app once again! They have moved the version number forward to 5.0..but in essence this is the same appearance, quick response, loaded with tons and tons of highly useful links app that I had like back in mid-November or so.
All the webcams are working for me, the near-real-time lift and trail status seems like it’s working, the variable timing of updates, etc.
The only thing I don’t use is the GPS tracking and aggregation of vertical feet skied..so not sure there.
Telluride- thanks again for fixing this, and please leave this app format as is for remainder of winter season (unless something specific needs fixing). You done good!

Not a world class App
This app used to work great and I would check it every single morning, seems that some thing has changed with the development and now none of the WebCams will stay up to speed or sync in real time. The powder cam was frozen on the same shot for four days and I refreshed several times.

Incredible resort, ok app
Would be great to see telluride resort on the EPIC app! Lots more features there, and many that simply work better. Most of all tracking. Plus, it would be nice if EPIC riders and skiers could track their vertical feet in telluride, too. Other thoughts on this app:
- Why does the tracking turn off so much? I skied 8 hours one day and it said I skied 4 runs? A bummer, because I like to review my runs at the end of the trip and compare to past.
- When you are in the map, it’s difficult to get back to the main menu. You have to tap the bottom of the map just so. It basically looks/works like a PDF map.
- Map often wasn’t most up to date resource. Didn’t seem to update consistently with latest lift updates, but the alerts did help.
- Really loved the “Powcam” among the mountain cams! Fun to see how much powder we got from a storm or in a night.

Once you understand the importance of this Spanish word at Telluride, you’ll understand how things work. You will hear this word a lot on the mountain, but it’s doesn’t mean what it means in Spanish. It means “on delay”, as in waiting for lifts and runs to open. There are many reasons why delays are so common, such as only starting bombing for avi control at 8:30am, unlike most ski areas that start hours earlier. It’s also because this is a big, complex mountain, situated in some of the most tricky avalanche country in the US. It also has to do with old equipment that fails every now and then (lift 10 is a great example). But hey, it’s not Vail! Lines are short, people are chill, and the views are some of the best in the WORLD.

Spoiled skiing Telluride since 1986
Love the simplicity of the App. Live in Ridgway. Start checking Lift/Trail operations at 430 in the morning. Leave for Telluride at 730am. Don’t know who is responsible for updating mountain conditions. I plan my day out on what’s open. Many times the App shows all lifts and trails operating. Understand the need for disclaimer for information depending on conditions. Disappointing when I get there, the lifts and hike to terrain are on delay. Safety is priority, like to see delay information as soon as resort knows.

Poor cam/vid/weather data really too bad...
I live local and used to rely on quality information on the app; video from top of revelation, good weather/temp/wind speed data, etc. telluride has totally dropped the ball on video/cams/weather. Not to mention the mountain itself seems non-interested in opening terrain. The website is even worse went on today (go on every day) and it’s impossible to tell what runs are open.
Most world class resorts have world class information to motivate and inform skiers.
Telluride in this sense is far from world class and close to the basement.

Where are the messages?
I get pop-up alerts about changing conditions, but if I don’t read it as a pop-up, and want read it after the pop-up disappears, where in the app can I get to those alerts? Seems that should be obvious and easy to access from the home page or a menu, since it’s an ALERT.

Telluride is our Favorite so far!
Telluride is so beautiful and super easy to get around. You can literally walk everywhere no matter where you stay! If you stay in Town and want to go to Mtn. Village for food our shopping, just hop on the FREE Gondola! You can ski/snowboard right into town or Mtn. Village, depending on where you stay. The runs are great and the bowls are Great! Thanks Telluride for another great tip!
