This app is awesome. I didn't’ know any Korean whatsoever before starting this app, and now I can confidently look at a word or sentence and slowly read what it says. I like that before any new material is introduced, a brief description of what will be learned is given, with pronunciation included. The only thing needs fixing is none of the animation works. But I’ve learned without it.

Within 5 days I was slowly able to pronounce and read Hangul. This app definitely get through a the little rules of Hangul. I would definitely recommend this for beginners. 😊

Most people want to learn korean but some apps require to buy premium or something related like that but Tengugo Hangul is sooo helpful like super helpful.I promise if you want to learn korean this is the app for you.

It’s amazing and super helpful for learning Korean! The only problem is that the animation for the stroke order does not work on my phone (iOS, on the app). I had to go on the website for the stroke order. Besides that, the app is perfect!

It have been hard to learn Korean but this helps with pretty much everything it even told me how it all began so thank you for the app

I downloaded the app for the purpose of learning the stroke order. But all of the pics aren’t there. It’s just the file name. Gave it 2 stars bc it looks like a comprehensive app otherwise I just wish the files worked

I really like that you can hear the pronunciation for each character as well as the animation to learn the correct stroke order. Each lesson has a quiz. And each quiz has a review section that work like study cards. You can't edit them but hey provide enough detail from the lesson you just went through.
I was really surprised by the congratulations after completing 25% of the quizzes though. Hahaha.

I like the descriptive material and history provided with this app but the SVG images/graphics are not working, rendering the app very unhelpful in seeing stroke order illustrated and handwriting explained.

Very intuitive to use, and well designed from an educational standpoint- I'm just learning Hangul for fun, so perhaps someone learning for business or a more serious reason would want to pay for a more in-depth app. That being said, I have learned several languages through formal and am in the process of being certified as an English teacher, and I speaking from that background, the way the lessons were broken into small, manageable units with a quiz at the end of each was perfectly suited for those learning on their spare time, or as a hobby. The lessons followed a clear flow, and the
charts with native speakers pronouncing the sounds were very helpful. My only complaint was that the "reading" part seemed very abbreviated, with no exercises, and only a handful of examples.
