Version 5 brings two completely new features:
• a new view to show how the number of winners, attempted winners, forced errors and unforced errors accumulated over the match, giving new insights into how and when the match changed tactically and performance-wise;
• a pop-up message in the game view launched by tapping the current match score, showing the currently predicted match result, based on how successful each player has been at winning points on serve.
Several bugs were also fixed for match deletions, double fault corrections, server switching and recording of lobs/passes.

Where am the points coming from? The detailed statistics view adds a "Win Map" showing for each player the percentage of the winning points coming on their own or their opponent's first or second serves. This gives added insights on how to improve one's game and to focus training. This version also shows the percentage of each player's serves which are first serves - often used to assess the maturity of a player's game - and extends the lob category to cover passing shots, which also convert defence into attack.

In the default advanced operation, using the "Undo Game" button, you can now correct a game score that you have wrongly or accidentally completed, by stepping back one point, without deleting and re-entering the whole game.

A new (default) advanced level of use has been added. This allows the automatic recording of the serve, the type of winning or losing shot that decides each rally, and the adding of an optional comment. The statistics are then more comprehensive, showing how the winners and errors are distributed across the shot types to identify strengths and weaknesses. Also the number and percentage of winners and losers on first or second serve are calculated in the match summary. There's also a game by game report for deeper analysis of critical points in the match. If so desired, the app can continue to be run in the old simple way, without the above sophistication, and all previously recorded matches can still be viewed.

You can still use the app in the old way, but you can now optionally count the outright winners (OW), attempted winners (AW), forced errors (FE) and unforced errors (UE), giving greater insight on the root causes of success or failure. Counting these automatically updates the scores. There is also an extra statistical view that shows how these counts changed game by game.
