Tenor Sax Prompter can now automatically loop either a whole song or a section of a song, so you can highlight a passage you want to focus on and play it along with Tenor Sax Prompter—over and over until you learn it perfectly!
Tenor Sax Prompter also now remembers your per-song settings, so you can pop back into any song you’ve been practicing and Tenor Sax Prompter will remember which section you were working on, what tempo you were playing at, which tracks you had muted—and of course whether you had looping turned on!

Great new features for hands-free operation, easier sharing, and more!
Tenor Sax Prompter now supports the two-pedal AirTurn wireless page turner! Now your practices can be MORE PRODUCTIVE and MORE FUN when you control Tenor Sax Prompter with your feet! Start, stop, or pause playback! Scroll backwards or forwards through note fingerings for the notes in your songs in order! Step through the reference fingering charts—by literally stepping on the AirTurn’s pedal! Now you can practice without taking your hands off your instrument—so practice is more efficient, more productive, and MORE FUN! Stay focused on LEARNING and PRACTICING—without having to interrupt your progress by having to touch your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch’s screen as much! Check out the AirTurn Bluetooth wireless page turner at http://airturn.com —available at amazon, Musician’s Friend, and anywhere music gear is sold--and unlock the best experience possible with Tenor Sax Prompter!
This release of Tenor Sax Prompter also adds a new way to share music files between users who are in the same room—with support now for AirDrop! You’ve always been able to share files with other Tenor Sax Prompter users (or users of Note Prompter for other woodwinds and brass instruments) via e-mail. And you can still import MIDI files from web pages or your e-mail. But now with support for AirDrop, sharing is even easier! If you’re an instructor, share lesson files with your students using AirDrop—no need to know anyone’s e-mail address or phone number! As long as they are near you (in the same room) and have AirDrop enabled, they can receive the files you share instantly! If you’re a student, or in a band, share songs instantly with your fellow musicians—so everyone is on the same page!
We’ve also added a handy new chromatic scale song file to the 36 pre-packaged song/scale files we already include.
And we’ve updated the app for iOS7! So get Tenor Sax Prompter today—and start making music today!

New features:
- Ability to share imported MIDI files with friends via e-mail. Press-and-hold on a blue song title in the song list to share via e-mail.
- Ability to pause/resume playing from within the Section viewer display, so you no longer have to switch over to the main screen to pause/resume.
- Added automatic transposition when viewing a track for another instrument whose range is out of your instrument's range. So notes will still sound in the original range, but will be shifted by octaves as necessary to be able to be displayed as note fingerings for your instrument, in your instrument's range.
- Increased the number of notes that can be shown in the Section viewing screen, so you can see a whole song there if you choose.
Bug fix:
- Fixed scenario where re-playing a song file in which the user had chosen a non-default track could cause the highlighted instrument track to change back to the default.

With this update we've enabled pause/resume functionality, and made the app work for iPhone and iPod!

We've added two great new features: playing ranges of a song, and the phrase viewer!
Now you can mark a range within a song so you can work on songs a little bit at a time. A progress indicator shows you where you are in a song at all times, and a range slider lets you play just the part of a song that you indicate. Skip long intros to get right to the tenor sax part of a song, or mark a short section of a song to work on till you get it right!
And the phrase viewer lets you view a sequence of notes and work on them at your own pace. This is a great way to get started when you find that watching individual notes in real time may still be too fast for you--or you just want to have an overview of a whole passage. Access the phrase viewer from the tab bar at the bottom.

We've improved the user interface with easy-to-use tabs. We also now auto-select the tenor sax track when loading an imported song. PLUS we've corrected detection of instrument channel names in imported songs, and we've fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when playing very large imported songs!

With this version we've added a one-measure count-in to each of the included song files. This allows the user to press the Play button to start playback of a song file--while still having enough time to re-position his hands on the saxophone before the first note plays.
We've also added the ability for the user to slow down any song (either included songs or imported songs) to make it easier for the beginning player to choose the speed at which he is most comfortable playing. The playback speed can be adjusted at any time during song playback.
