I have been struggling with chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain for years now, in addition to suffering from chronic migraines. I started going to a good chiropractor, which helped, but I couldn’t seem to grasp how to stay in “good posture”. Over the years, I’ve practiced yoga, tried Pilates, and worked with personal trainers with some success, but keeping consistently healthy posture continued to allude me and I continued to experience chronic tension in my upper back and neck, and the pain in my right shoulder continued to get worse. I’ve been wanting to work with someone to help me specifically with improving my posture for a while now, and when I came across this app, I figured I had nothing to lose. The price was very affordable for my tight budget, so I decided to give it a try.
I’m on Day 22 and I am beyond grateful for this app! It is helping me in exactly the ways I needed! The videos are short, which makes it easy for me to watch them and do the exercises before work in the morning. In addition to the fact that the stretches and exercises are simple and VERY effective, she does an incredible job of teaching about the many ways people can work on improving their alignment in day-to-day life. I now have an understanding about WHY I’ve struggled to keep healthy posture my whole life, realizing that I’ve been over-straining the muscles in my neck and shoulders and I haven’t paid enough attention to strengthening my torso, back, and legs. This woman, the instructor, teaches about posture brilliantly, concisely, and in a way that’s easy to learn and follow. I cannot recommend this app enough to anyone who has struggled with back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, migraines, or even for someone who just wants to improve their overall alignment and posture. I am so thankful for this app!!!!!
